I have seen to many Raptors medias fully being on the BangWagon “covey the pick” almost as if it was certain we would lose the pick next year should we keep this year.

The only exception I saw was somebody invited in Raptors republic poscast. Don’t remember his name. He was bang on with my opinion.

People are speaking with certainty as if pick 1-6 this year is 100% worse as pick 7-14 next year.

The reality is we don’t know even if this draft is underwhelming.

I am definitely Team Tank although this “convey/not convey” is very hard because there is plus and minus to both options.

But anytime you can add a top6 pick, IMO you have to take it because you never know when the opportunity going to pass again.

To address the bolded, they were chatting about this from a player development perspective not "are you team keep or convey". They were basically saying development is what they're looking at more than wins and losses.

Let's not forget that development and tanking are not the exact same thing. Folk even made a comment in relation to this, something along the lines of "everyone who wants to trade Poeltl to tank doesn't realize you need a big like him on your roster for development even though he positively impacts winning."

He did say that thing about wanting to see more of IQ+Poeltl before making a hard decision, but in the video version of the episode towards the end of their guest appearances when Baraheni says "convey the pick", you can clearly see that Folk is in agreement with him.
