Sign DeAndre Jordan, bring over Val next year.

Next year draft Kabongo, Teague or Barnes.

UGH I don't know man.

Wouldn't you be pissed knowing that you have to spend 8 months a year in Detroit for the next 5 years?

Watch BC's response when he's asked about his other 7 footer, he says one is a 4 the other is a 5, plus we have trade options to explore too. that means Bargs is gone.

We'll blow our wad on a free agent C like DeAndre Jordan and go for 9th. How's that tanking thing going for you?

Here we go again blasting BC for things that haven't happened yet. Can we at least wait to see who he signs and for what amount before losing our s***?

I'm assuming this is the plan:

1. Overpay free agent center
2. Trade Ed Davis (the best young talent on the team) for immediate help
3. Move "Dirk Nowitzki" to his "natural position" (the 4)
4. Watch PFs blow by "Dirk Nowitzki"
5. Watch fans boo "Dirk Nowitzki"
6. Wonder why the booing has suddenly stopped
7. Realize the booing has stopped because the ACC is empty
8. Bring a "young Big Z" over from Europe.
9. Realize that this "young Big z" is a big B (bust)
10. Get fired.

Val won't be here until next year and even then he'll be a raw rookie in the NBA. The Raps will need someone to play C for the next 2 or maybe 3 years since clearly Bargs can't do the job and neither Amir nor ED are suited to playing heavy minutes at the 5.

Why bother if this team is going to be tanking for 1 or more draft picks anyway and waiting on Val? Obviously because they want to see how all these PFs play next to a legit C and who they need to keep and who they can ship out to help strengthen another position.

Bargs, ED, Amir--at least one of them needs to go. If Bargs doesn't flourish at the 4 next to a real C then he's gone. If he does then I can see ED being traded for a good PG or perhaps both ED and Derozan going for a star swingman with a more complete game and can truly be the #1 player on this team.

Why don't you follow another team, if you feel that is the case of course?

This. I don't get the notion that you shouldn't have vets on your team if you're re-building. I also don't get the notion that guys like DeMar and Ed are untouchable. We're not going to turn trash to treasure. You have two give up two or more decent assets to get a good asset. And you have to give up two or more good assets to get a great asset.

 Did you graduate to Colangelo College of General Managing too? You forgot let DeRozan walk for nothing while questioning his commitment/talent level while another team signs him to a big contract and proceeds to win a buttload of games.

And what if the acquisition of Gasol was realistic?

What kind of moron would hang up the phone on that proposition, even after we drafted the BPA who also happens to be a C?

I think the only realistic options are Sammy Dalembert and Joel Prizabella. I think Joel may make a good mentor for Jonas as a good vet. Apparently Dalembert is cancer and may not be someone you want to mentor your young core. I assume Marc Gasol and Deandre Jordan will stay with their respective teams.
