OT: Panic Buying. When Will it End?

Sure it would be great to get masks but where to get them from.

I have a couple N95s but those are only if really needed like if I'm going to a walk in clinic/hospital waiting area etc. Some people who stocked up can probably just wear theirs when they go out once or twice a week but most other citizens can't.

I will say, I was noticing people not really respecting the physical distancing guidelines unfortunately.

That’s exactly where one should wear a mask.

The idea here is to protect everyone else assuming the mask wearer is sick and asymptomatic.

If people that are asymptomatic don't care enough to social distance or even stay inside and are still going on like it's a vacation, what makes anyone think they will wear a mask to protect other people. Standard masks don't stop incoming particles well, but have some value in reducing face touches and taking velocity off outgoing exhalations.

Face shields seem to have more promise and also cover the eyes. However, just like gloves, there is still the issue of getting infected when you take it/them off improperly or reuse.
