Tre could be a slower, less bouncy Kobe, that shoots the 3 better. :reporter:

Tre could be a slower, less bouncy Ray Allen.

Tre Johnson reminds me of a bigger Cam Thomas. I see him as a 6th man microwave scorer.

Tre is a Devin Booker/Bradley Beal. He's firmly #3 for me, but there's times when he looks better than Harper.

Just a reminder that Flagg just turned 18. He’s got such a high floor and even if he never develops into an elite 1st option the guy has such a strong feel for the game and impacts winning in so many ways.

This is better than the 2021 draft in my opinion. Lots of good prospects.

I'd trade assets to secure Egor Demin and Collin Murray-Boyles. Best offensive and defensive players in the draft.

I’m a fan of Egor, but in what world is he the best offensive player in the draft?

Can't believe we gave up our 2nd rounder this year in the Poeltl deal. Hopefully we can get something, either a late first or early second, in a trade.

Probably wouldn't have had to if we didn't need to dump Birch's contract which had an extra year on it. Unfortunately that was self inflicted with the deal he gave him but Birch was still mostly serviceable when he was actually healthy.

Getting the Portland second balanced it out but yeah..

Convinced they'll get a late first or solid second via trade.

That 2nd rounder was to unload Khem Birch's overpaid contract

I explained before that Khem Birch contract was the butterfly flap that caused many bad moves like the Thad trade and this loss of 2nd rounder

That’s a first rounder to some round these parts.

Yes, it is to me.
Given the cap flexibility it provides, you can easily make the case that a 32nd overall pick is more valuable than say a 28th overall pick.

So technically, ya it is as valuable as a late first round pick.

I love Masai, but that trade was an absolute disaster. However, he can still redeem himself (at least to an extent) if he can trade Poeltl at this deadline and get picks back.

From a value standpoint, it wasn’t.

Nah he doesn’t have the dynamic decision making when finishing. I think he’ll be a Kevin Looney type.

Demin is a bust. CMB I agree just help him with his jumper.

I would take Harper over Tre but i might take Tre over Ace and the rest of the class....Imo id go Flagg/Harper/Tre/Bailey as my top 4 Jak/Edgecomb would be my 5/6
