I definitely worded that wrong, I just mean he seems like a potential star player to be available, pHX situation ain’t good, he looks like one the stars next to demand a trade.
I personally think we have decent assets to offer teams. Wouldn’t be a bad option to explore if he ever became avalible.
All indications are that Houston want to pounce on him if he becomes available. And they have Phx's picks to give back.
Dillon Brooks, Reed Sheppard, Tari Eason, Cam Whitmore and three 1st picks?
For
Devin Booker
I'm almost certain Houston's goal would be to trade Green's new contract as part of the main asset to avoid giving up their strong, young playoff players like Eason. For Phoenix I'm wondering if the mandatory piece is moving Beal in the deal.
It's two trades with Beal and Booker each.
- Fred + Cam (or whatever filler) in one
- Green + Sheppard in the other + the picks
The only problem is if they would want to trade for Fred's contract at the draft and decline the team option to get them out of the tax, while the Green move requires his new contract to kick in to work.
