Glad CMB got the chain last game, well deserved. These Hornets beat OKC recently, and stomped us last time. Got to take them seriously.

GO RAPS!

This is going to be a tough battle, hornets hit a lot of ,3s. Hopefully we can contain that for this game.

That Starter jacket H2H is not a good sign.

This may be a game whereby we miss Jakub. They have a tall strong C.

Edit: nvm, Kalkbrenner is on the injury report

Charlotte seems to be one of those teams that always have our number, ever since their Bobcats days. I am never confident playing against Charlotte.

Biggest game of the year.

Charlotte's winning formula against us is them benching Lamelo.

Hornets having been playing damn well lately, so this is not indictment of our team if we lose this one.

Man, Kon is fun to watch, so I'll be tuning in.

If the league had any brains, they'd be promoting young stars instead of hanging onto a 41 year old teet.

I think it's still an indictment if we lose to them 3 times in a row.

Yes, they're 8-9 over their past 17 games (minding that two of those are wins we shouldn't have let them have), but with RJ back, we really SHOULD beat them. They've also beaten the Wizards and the Magic in that stretch, as well as the 17-19 Bulls. Had a good win against Atlanta, and beat Cleveland in OT with Mitchell looking like a wretched waste (6/24 that game), and Garland wasn't dominant either (8/19). Hunter sucked, so did Allen, Ball was brutal... And the Thunder loss was with SGA looking profoundly awful for reasons that were not Charlotte's defense.

So as far as the quality of those wins, I think we probably shouldn't treat them as if the Hornets are THAT good right at the moment. We just need to play our game and not make stupid mistakes, or randomly stop scoring in the 4th quarter, and we should be fine.

In short, if we lose again, it'd be disappointing

You're not accounting for weird crap always happening against the Hornets, which automatically makes an L to them not unexpected. Jeremy Lamb still haunts our dreams.

Unexpected doesn't repeal the disappointment, man. We SHOULD win against them.

Whether or not we do is a whole separate kettle of fish xD
