Wow...tons of hate-mail (

)for Mailman in this thread...
Get off Karl's junk. He has his personality flaws but he should be respected for the person he has become over the years. I love how people point to his statutory rape of a 13 year old when he was 18. Im not here to defend Malone or the act...but did any of you grow up in the deep South in the 1970s? I served an LDS mission in a country where 30 year old men had children with girls as young as 13 years old and nobody batted an eyelash. Just cultural gap that needs some catching up to accepted society. Why hate on Malone for his past sins. Look at the man he is now:
Dude is super charitable. And loyal...he didnt make like today's stars and take off for the limelight and rings in a big market. He stayed, took less money time and again to afford role players here, and brought the limping, geriatric Utah Jazz roster to the brink of defeating the NBA's golden goose.
He has made ammends with his past. If Cheryl Ford can forgive and respect Karl, we should too.
Yeah, so he ran his mouth. That's what Karl does. But I'll tell you something....there is no way in HELL he is wrong. Sloan AND Johnson WALKED OUT TOGETHER on the franchise IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON. That tells you something. Sloan just has too much class to do anything but cast the Jazz in a good light after the fact.
And I disagree with whoever said Greg Miller didnt do anything wrong. He is the head of a very public organization. Resorting to Jerry Springer-style fueds should be beneath him as a business man and a leader. Clearly it is not...and we should worry about the Jazz franchise going forward if the leadership doesnt improve....
