There's a ceiling on this team with Westbrook running the show and anyone who has played or watched a significant amount of basketball realizes that. Westbrook is just a slightly worse but higher usage version of Iverson. He's fun to watch and plays with a lot of heart, but he will never win a 'ship.
Also, to respond to you saying HOU got so much better with D'Antoni. I'm laughing so hard right now. Do you not realize they went out and got 3 lights out shooters? Gordon, Anderson, AND Lou Williams? The roster was stacked with shooters in D'Antoni's first year and Morey knew D'Antoni would be perfect for this squad.
Ah, the "anyone who's played" defense, the last stand for someone with no reasonably informed retort. The ceiling seemed to be a top 2 offense and almost beating a 73-9 team, which seems rather strong to me. Anyone with half a thought would realize that most players don't win a ring, and I'm literally laughing at every reply you give.
It's a mix of Cowherd's hot takes and Skip Bayless trolling. They're garbage. You realize the offense ran as well with Westbrook as Durant no? And that in at the least 2016 he was on Durant's level? Because that's your ceiling bud. A near ring and almost beating the greatest team ever. But nah, it's him, always, that's why everyone realizes you seem to have a dreadful talent evaluation most everywhere, or just a ton of bad hot takes.
Hint: There's a thing called the internet, you're on it now You can use it to search for information before you make a claim that's factually inaccurate. Saves a lot of face.
Also, team 3 point percentage:
Houston in McHale's last year: 35 percent
Houston in MDA's first: 36 percent

I'd suggest you take the "anyone who's played" defense of a terrible take to someone who actually hasn't played.
