This is outcome fallacy though.
We still have areas that can be majorly upgraded come the playoffs.
With that being said . Draft is coming up soon .

Need a player to defend the Siakam type players out there. Topic coming back will be a nice bench addition to run along side Jdub when Shai sits.

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I'll be surprised if Presti does anything like that. I expect him to trade out of the draft for future picks and/or pick swaps and run it back next year. Maybe he uses #24 to dump Dieng and then makes a pick at #15, but that is the most roster movement I expect this off-season.

Yea that’s the most likely outcome .
Draft one
Trade one for future
Dump Dieng
I’m hopeful there’s one more move somehow . Trade one of our guy for a vet somewhere. But I’m hopeful every offseason and mostly disappointed by the non-moves in most offseason.

same but can't deny that we have money issue long term and that's maybe why Presti will ultimately decide to keep a guy like Joe instead of trading him and Dieng for a 18 millions/year+ player

Joe is in that 11-12m salary slot . Is there anyone better we can get for similar salary (probably up to 15m)

Indy is a relatively young team that isn't going to be trading away key players. I don't see Dallas giving up Washington as they have made it clear they prefer to play big and they are in win now mode with AD and Kyrie.
