Kinda hard when you have no development and get sent and back and fourth to Tulsa 3 times a week no? OKC was to worried about winning to develop young guys back then. They knew they had a window. To this day I still feel bad for rookies thay get drafted to OKC. They will never reach anything close to full potential as long as russell is there. Brooks being fired was a step in the right direction at least. Brooks had the irrational expectations for young guys to be more consistent without consistent playing time and I think the lack of development in younger players really hurt the organization as a whole. You guys let Lamb walk for nothing.
Correct. Which is the reason why he had more minutes per game in 2013–14 in OKC than any other season until this year.
Hang on a minute...
Also the reason why Reggie Jackson never developed and neither did Steven Adams.
Oh Reggie Jackson? The guy who averaged 17.6 and 9.2 assists on the pistons the same year he averaged 12.8 and 4.3 assists in OKC. Or how about Steven Adam's who after his rookie season under Brooks went from 7.7 ppg in 14-15 to 8.0 ppg with less rebounds in 15-16. A whole .3 ppg increase with less rebounds. Just the definition of development lmao. Not sure if that was a joke or not...
You do realize Reggie didn't start here, right?!?? That was also the year we were down to 6 healthy players at one point. One of those reasons being Reggie refusing to play...
