Yeah Wroten looks like the real deal. Particularly when he was on the floor with Conley and there wasn't any pressure on him to run sets.

A couple moments where you could tell he was a rookie - twice he tried to get a layup off that playground hopstep from the one side of the key to the other with plenty of big guys around the basket. Very few players can pull that off at the NBA level, and even fewer are guards. He's going to have to learn a tear drop or equivalent shot if he wants to score over 7 footers.

Bayless also looked good as a 2 guard, though he certainly cannot guard Bryant. As the season goes on, we should ask Wroten to take on those bigger 2-guards since he's three inches taller than Bayless with a good wingspan.

Luckily we've avoided more foul trouble after an ugly first quarter, and we've gotten a lift from our depleted bench. All 5 guys off the pine have played well.

Great win, but honestly this game was more about the Lakers' deficiencies than our own positives. The fact that they couldn't obliterate a lineup of Wroten, Allen, Johnson, Arthur and Haddadi is very telling.

Regardless if the Lakers suck or not, the win was well needed by the Grizz. Now they have a test to take against the Nets tonight. It will not be easy. They will have to work hard for this one. Good luck.
