Hopefully we'll have a vaccine for COVID-19 by then.

I’ll play, but only if I get the spot appropriate to where I actually pick (fourth assuming nobody picks before me).

I’m not taking the number one spot since I didn’t get to pick first.

That seems fair to me.

Sure go for it. Can someone adjust the sheet?

Just so I’m clear on the rules, euro can still choose players who played for the Lakers at some point, he just can’t choose actual Laker seasons?

My impression was that he couldn't choose anyone who played for the Lakers at any point, but looking at the rules I'm not sure.

I initially assumed what you’re saying, but the rules sure sound more like what I said.

Hmm.

It's rough because the answer to that question impacts my pick.

3. Each season picked must be for a franchise a player already drafted to your team has not played for at any point in his career (up to 2019-2020), except for Round 1 which is a free pick. Eg. If a player drafts Michael Jordan Round 1, players from Chicago and Washington are not eligible in Round 2/the remainder of the draft for that drafter. If he drafts Chris Paul in Round 2, Chicago, Washington, New Orleans, the Clippers and OKC are now his ineligible group of franchises. This process of contracting your player pool with each pick is continued the rest of the draft.

It sounds to me like all Lakers seasons are ineligible for euro, but he could draft Grizzlies Pau for example.

But then how would you eliminate franchises in real time? There's no indication that you have to declare your season at the time of your pick.

Every time you make a pick all of that player's franchises is eliminated so it doesn't make a difference if you declare. So eg.

Rd 1: Magic - Lakers eliminated
Rd 2: Pau - Grizzlies, Bulls, Spurs, Bucks eliminated

Pau is legal in rd 2 cause only the Lakers were eliminated at that point.

I'm fine with whatever way ardee chooses, but it would lead to better teams doing it this way.

And then could take Marc Gasol on the Raptors in round 3, etc etc. I get it

OK. I think we should just follow the instructions as they are written and proceed accordingly. We've already lost a lot of time.
