Boston waives Eddie House

Boston has three trades to announce.

Trade 1: Boston Sends Pietrus to Orl for a portion of their Hedo TPE and 2012 2nd Obviously works

Why: we clear long term capspace at a position we're already strong at.

Trade 2: Boston sends Ray Allen (18,776,860) and Luis Amundson (845,000) to Orl for Joel Pryzbilla (6,857,725) and Gerald Wallace (9,500,000) Obviously works.

Why: we turn an expiring star into a semi start in Wallace with a lot of good years left and a great defensive and rebounding C.

Boston accepts. We get to add a ligit All Star to our lineup and a scorer to help share the offensive burden of our team. We loved Crashes game, but his injury history was too much a risk. We now think that with the deepest bench in the game and a starting lineup of Felton/Allen/S.Jackson/Murphy/Howard we are the team to beat in the East

Confirmed. We get a 21 yr old legit 7 footer at C, who put up 11/7 last season and a young star in Deng. With Deng and Ellis sitting on my bench and the picks I've gotten we think have the assets to get a super star without killing our depth.

Boston and Oklahoma City have come to an agreement

Boston sends Grant Hill (3,000,000) to Oklahoma City for J.J. Redick ($2,839,408), 2012 Memphis 2nd Rounder

Why for Boston

Shave salary off in the long term and gain an asset for the future. Hill is playing behind too many people to count, so it was necessary to allow him the chance to play. In Oklahoma I feel he could be a primary back-up to Melo and Harden both.

OKC accepts. I'm a huge Hill fan, even now. He should help bolster the bench for us.

Final three years are only partially guaranteed ($1,856,000, $1,984,000, and $2,112,000 respectively) but become fully guaranteed if Jones is not waived on or before 6/30/2010.

It was hard as hell to trade my boy Kidd. but i'll have to accept if it allows us to stay a contender even longer than with Kidd. I really like adding Pietrus in the trade it gives me even more depth and gives Beaubois a tutor to help him out, Pietrus was the one that originally found him overseas so it should make for a good second floor unit. Claver is someone i really like he has humongous potential and would've gone top 10 next year's draft. He has a similar game to Melo just not as athletic and taller, but man that kid is agile.As for Vasquez always wanted him on the Mavs. Unfortunately he's been traded.

This move gives me ample room to sign two max FAs and sets me up for my own high pick this year. The 76ers accept. I said from the start that I wanted to improve this team and I feel like this trade does that. To start, I finally found the starting PG I've been looking for in Chalmers, he has proven to be a solid starter with great defense and I feel he will get a lot better. I also like the Green/Young part of the trade for me, I feel Young has more potential, but Green is a better fit for the direction I'm going in. I feel like I added a lot of depth with Wallace, Phryz, Davis, and Casspi. Wallace and Phryz will have a big role with this team, while Casspu is perfect for the future and Davis is perfect insurence.
