Boston has three trades to announce.

Trade 1: Boston Sends Pietrus to Orl for a portion of their Hedo TPE and 2012 2nd Obviously works

Why: we clear long term capspace at a position we're already strong at.

Trade 2: Boston sends Ray Allen (18,776,860) and Luis Amundson (845,000) to Orl for Joel Pryzbilla (6,857,725) and Gerald Wallace (9,500,000) Obviously works.

Why: we turn an expiring star into a semi start in Wallace with a lot of good years left and a great defensive and rebounding C.

Boston accepts. We get to add a ligit All Star to our lineup and a scorer to help share the offensive burden of our team. We loved Crashes game, but his injury history was too much a risk. We now think that with the deepest bench in the game and a starting lineup of Felton/Allen/S.Jackson/Murphy/Howard we are the team to beat in the East

Sacramento and San Antonio havea trade to announce

Sacramento Trades
Luol Deng $10,365,000
Spencer Hawes $2,332,800
2011 Sac First
2010 gs 2nd
2012 Lakers first

San Antonio Trades
Emeka Okafor $10,647,500
Malik Allen $1,300,000

Sacramento accepts, while im giving upa lot of value in this trade to get my guy, i feel it is a step in the right direction for my team. Deng and Hawes were a part of my core by this trade helps me shore up my weak front court.

Confirmed. We get a 21 yr old legit 7 footer at C, who put up 11/7 last season and a young star in Deng. With Deng and Ellis sitting on my bench and the picks I've gotten we think have the assets to get a super star without killing our depth.

Boston sends Grant Hill (3,000,000) to Oklahoma City for J.J. Redick ($2,839,408), 2012 Memphis 2nd Rounder

Why for Boston

Shave salary off in the long term and gain an asset for the future. Hill is playing behind too many people to count, so it was necessary to allow him the chance to play. In Oklahoma I feel he could be a primary back-up to Melo and Harden both.

OKC accepts. I'm a huge Hill fan, even now. He should help bolster the bench for us.

Edit: forgot, Boston Waives J.J Redick prior to this deal. I also waive James Jones

Boston has a three way deal to announce:

Boston sends Shane Battier(6,939,200) to the Spurs for Matt Harpring(6,500,000) and Will Bynum(825,497), 2001 1st (SAC), 2012 1st (NY), 2011 2nd (GS), 2012 2nd (NY)
Obviously works

San Antonio sends JR Giddens(1,028,880), Will Bynum (825,497), Rasual Butler(3,945,000), 2011 1st, 2012 1st, 2011 2nd, 2010 2nd for Shane Battier (6,939,200)
Obviously Works

Utah sends Matt Harpring (6,500,000) to Boston for JR Giddens(1028880), Rasual Butler(3945000), and the lesser of Bostons 2nd round draft choices in 2010
Obviously works

Boston accepts. We get a ton of cheap future assets and a third PG for this season. Not to mention cutting more cap next year.

Sas confirms. We get the best perimeter defender in the league one of the few guys who can slow kobe down and make him take lower % shoots. Love his game.

Utah accepts - save $3M this year in salary and luxury tax, get marginal prospects in Giddens, get entirely useless late 2nd rounder - what could be bad?

Orlando and Dallas have a deal to announce

Orlando trades
Felton (5,000,000), Pietrus (5,300,000), Claver (rites) and Vazquez (rites)
to Dallas for
Kidd (8,100,000), Jake Voskuhl (1,306,455) and 2012 Dallas 1st

Orlando really hates to give up a young PG that we feal is ready to explode this year, but are pulling all the stops to win a title now. JKidd will help this happen. We also love the upside of the 2 Euros, but needed to give them to get Kidd now. The 2012 1st helps replace to future prospects

hey, you need to count future money for some of your waived players

1.
James Jones: Signed for 5 years and $23.2 million in July 2008. Contract boosted by $10,000 a year due to a "summer development" bonus, whatever that is. Contract has a 15% trade kicker. Final three years are only partially guaranteed ($1,856,000, $1,984,000, and $2,112,000 respectively) but become fully guaranteed if Jones is not waived on or before 6/30/2010.

2.
Carlos Delfino: Signed and traded to a three year, $10.5 million contract in August 2009. Second year is only $500,000 guaranteed, becoming fully guaranteed if not waived on or before June 30th 2010. Third year is fully unguaranteed, becoming fully guaranteed if not waived on or before June 30th 2011

on a positive note,

Orlando is pleased to announce that we have signed the newly acquired Ray Allen to a contract extension.
2010/2011 - $12,500,000
2011/2012 - $12,500,000 (player option)

Ray has proven that he can still produce at a high level, and is still an All Star SG and one of the best shooters in the league. He is thrilled to be a part of what we are doing here in Orlando and is even more thrilled to now be getting passes from Jason Kidd. And was also thrilled with the aggressive offer I put on the table.

It was hard as hell to trade my boy Kidd. but i'll have to accept if it allows us to stay a contender even longer than with Kidd. I really like adding Pietrus in the trade it gives me even more depth and gives Beaubois a tutor to help him out, Pietrus was the one that originally found him overseas so it should make for a good second floor unit. Claver is someone i really like he has humongous potential and would've gone top 10 next year's draft. He has a similar game to Melo just not as athletic and taller, but man that kid is agile. As for Vasquez always wanted him on the Mavs. Unfortunately he's been traded.

Washington Gets:
Rasheed Wallace $5,854,000
Greg Buckner $4,000,000
DeMarre Carroll $1,009,680
Rights to Tiago Splitter
Rights to Fran Vasquez
2013 Dallas 1st
2010 NOH Second

Salary: Salary: $10,863,680

Washington Trades:
Andray Blatche $3,000,000
Brandon Haywood $6,000,000
2013 Washington 2nd

Salary: Salary: $9,000,000 x %1.25= $11,250,000

So it works salary wise. I get the centers to surround dirk with for the future. In Blatche a player that i hope can play well with Beaubois in the future. Also Haywood who can help now in defending the post. Against the bigs in the west. I hate losing Sheed but in this deal its worth it.

Boston has (another) trade to announce

Boston sends Gerald Wallace, Joel Pryzbilla, Jeff Green, Mario Chalmers, Glen Davis and Omri Casspi to Philly for Al Harrington, Speedy Claxton, Thad Young, Jrue Holiday, Royal Ivey, Primoz Brezec and a 2013 1st

(9,500,000+6,857,725+3,516,960+2,500,000+1,167,000+756,000=24,297,685)
(10,026,875+5,209,454+2,105,400+1,514,280+1,050,000+825,497=20,731,506)

Boston accepts. We take downgrades in talent at nearly every turn in this deal, but this deal isn't about the talent. It's about the future. This move gives me ample room to sign two max FAs and sets me up for my own high pick this year. In addition, the biggest pieces of this deal are Green and Young and we I feel like we'll come away on top in the future with that move. Pryzbilla may opt out this year anyways, Crash takes minutes from Green, Davis and Casspi just don't have a place on the team. To be honest, the only piece I regret losing is Chalmers, but I've got confidence that Holiday can perform well, and he will be able to play with any superstar(s) I may potentially get.

The 76ers accept. I said from the start that I wanted to improve this team and I feel like this trade does that. To start, I finally found the starting PG I've been looking for in Chalmers, he has proven to be a solid starter with great defense and I feel he will get a lot better. I also like the Green/Young part of the trade for me, I feel Young has more potential, but Green is a better fit for the direction I'm going in. I feel like I added a lot of depth with Wallace, Phryz, Davis, and Casspi. Wallace and Phryz will have a big role with this team, while Casspu is perfect for the future and Davis is perfect insurence.
