Dominion continues to make all the right legal moves. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/dominion-is-suing-rudy-giuliani-seeking-1-3-billion-in-damages-after-he-spread-the-conspiracy-theory-that-the-vote-machine-company-rigged-the-election/ar-BB1d4Ga4?ocid=uxbndlbing
And Guliani was working for Trump, so at some point, Trump should be sued. Hopefully, Guliani tries to throw Trump under the bus to try to save his own arse.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Let's be honest, she's the embodiment of human excrement - regardless of her political views. The real cowards are the people in her own party who don't stand up against her tactics. Or if they don't care about her tactics, it'd probably make more sense to call them what I called her.

The Clown party is discovering, that's what their constituents want (after significant encouragement from Fox News).
They could end this right now - Fox News could speak out against it. But Fox News makes it's living spreading division and hate.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXIX
When I first heard it, I thought Kaine's proposal for censure of Trump was an awful idea.
However hearing some details, I think there is some merit to it.
It is being chosen because it is a mechanism for disqualifying Trump by including language that matches the criteria in the 14th amendment. Also very importantly Kaine will only present it if it will get 10(or more) GOP votes. So choosing between a close to party line acquittal with no real consequences or a bipartisan Censure with the potentially the same punishment - the second option should be considered.
I think Kaine would be wise to attach additional considerations.
IMO it should happen after the trial, which will emphasize the scale of the attack that Trump made on the country and Democracy. That way those in the GOP can be judged by history and voters for exactly what they stand for. Don't give the GOP the out of it is just as good as an impeachment conviction.
Also the GOP needs to take official steps against Trump - he should be kicked out of the party for 5 years and disqualified from Nomination for 10.
Also those most involved in Congress should get the "Steve King" treatment - no committees for the term of Congress. The Senate is pretty obvious for Hawley and Cruz. The House clearly would be those involved in the rally and giving Terrorist tours. Depending on how broad the definition was, Liz Cheney might have to be on every House committee. These sanctions should be a start, not the final consequence for those in Congress with involvement in the attack.
Trump will fight an exclusion from the ballot based on Censure. He might succeed in getting on a State ballot - say Florida Governor. However he would be in bad shape for a Presidential run. 15 to 20 states(guessing including NY and CA) wouldn't let him on the ballot for either the Primary or General election. A similar number would let him on without a fight. So he has to wage 10 to 20 legal battles to have a long shot bid at the nomination. He will have 3 disadvantages from typical Trump legal battles. He can't get good representation any more. Time would not be on his side. Not only does he have to win, he also has to coordinate his success to get on enough state ballots.
My guess is he could raise a ton of money trying to do this, but I think it ultimately fails.

Nice take Verbal... I hadn't considered Trump having to fight through the ballot process in each state.
It has one additional benefit. He may stay on the ballot in R states thereby splitting the votes with an R presidential candidate.

Biden is impressing me so far. Loads of work to do and in a time when the legislature doesn't seem interested in legislating he's got his office back to being a force for good (on average) despite some serious long term dangers I'd like to see addressed. A fair few things need to be moved yet and things can change fast but he's obviously willing to be guided by advisors that know better than him and it's very much to his credit.dckingsfan wrote:Biden in the process of purchasing 200M more vaccines

There are so many things disturbing about her, but again - the bigger problems are that people actually elected her and her fellow Reps have not stood up to her. We have too many morons, cowards, and bullies running around unsupervised.
