I'm pretty sure the team option on Miller's final year must be exercised before he can be traded.
From my understanding it's not a team option or an ETO is it? It's just that only 2 mil of that 4.5 hes owed is guaranteed, so if he stays on the team he get's the full amount, if a team cuts him he does not get the full 4.5, the team only has to pay him 2. That's how I understand it as I am reading the details of the contract, or am I misunderstanding it?
I don't know for sure if a partially guaranteed deal is treated like an option year or not.
