They're all garbage Nate. I love how people have been killing Wittman this season. Maybe you can kill the organization overall for the way they develop players but WIt has very few if any options after Nene/Okafor. Seraphin looked good early and then teams adjusted and he has been horrific. Seraphin, Singleton, Vesely and Booker. All first-rounders and Booker is the best option. I think the Spurs' 15th man is better than those guys. We desperately need a 4/5 man in the draft. Not just a project. One that can play.
I have been praising the guy.
If you look at Wittman's teams from Minnesota (except perhaps his final season) and at Cleveland you'll find all those rosters sucked. Wittman has been anti-Phil Jackson. He NEVER had a loaded roster of stars. He had no stars and flux in all his lineups before. What he's doing now with more talent is showing that he's not a bad coach.
I have loved Wittman's use of a deep bench and that he's gotten great defense and unselfishness out of all players (except most times Seraphin). The best thing about Wittman is he is a stand up guy. His doghouse is open for any player remaining with the team, but he lets guys out of the doghouse, too.
I was all for Dave Joerger for coach last season but was thoroughly impressed with the 6-0 finish last season. Wittman had so much more success in areas Flip and preceding coaches failed, that I felt he's a good coach. Forget Joerger unless Randy loses the confidence of his team.
I feel really good about Wittman now, but for those who didn't before they have to recognize now.
