I tremble at the thought of a Gilbert Arenas / Nick Young backcourt. I suspect the other 11 Wizards on the roster may feel the same way.

thats another reason I'm keen on Nick yizzle. I can see gil taking him under his wing and giving him direction, the same way Kobe did to the lakers kids. Also after spending time on the court together, and offseasons i feel he will improve. Hes always been a good percentage shooter and I think that will allow him to shoot at higher volumes. Gil has made guards better and he believes in this kid. So does caron. I believe in him too. He's already beginning to nab rebounds here and there, block shots etc. The assist aspect of it, we always get assists out of the SF spot like a point forward and the point guard spot. jamison, wood etc all have low assist numbers, its a product of the offense and isolated attacks.

AD is not that much of a better passer than Arenas. Plus I'm looking forward to a healthy Arenas coming back so he can spread the floor out and create opportunities with good spacing.
As for Young, if he keeps shooting a high percentage like that, I don't mind if his assist numbers are low especially since Arenas, Butler, and Jamison can all create their own offense.

But he hasn't shot a high percentage, and he hasn't drawn many fouls for someone who shoots so often - so he hasn't been a particularly efficient scorer - so far.

I was referring to when how Young has been playing since the all star break where he shot over 50% and his rebounding numbers have become respectable. Even though that is a small sample size, he has been performing efficiently in that span. Of course, I would prefer if he averaged more assists than turnovers.
