They are? I mean, it's not like they left him wide open 5 times last night, but they weren't exactly playing him tight either.
His shots, with the exception of that one post up which was just awful, were rhythm shots and he got them off no problem.
Like everything else on this board, his shot isn't nearly as bad as advertised last night, but at the other end of the spectrum, he isn't nearly as good of a shooter as we all think he is and want him to be.
He will improve, though. He's young, and there's no doubt that he has 3pt shooting ability, along with a soft touch in the post (with his turnaround fadeaway). He rebounds fairly well and his post defense doesn't look that bad.
In time, maybe he can become a serviceable role player, but to expect anything more is pushing it, IMHO.
