What's up with Wall?? Thought he was playing for a contract?? He's having far too many sucky games for someone who's supposed to be worthy of building a team around.. smh.

We've seen Price as a starting PG. I'm not a fan. Granted, the bulk of his games as a starter came without Nene in the lineup, but still - if we trade Wall, priority #1 would be to find a starting-caliber PG.

Theres many teams in the Nba, good playoff teams where a stud pg is not a priority or problem (knicks, heat, grizzlies etc). I think if you build around, you would be able to get by with price.

And how exactly would we get the #1 pick with Wall?

The problem with trading Wall is that he plays at fast tempo few others can match and he has superior court vision (when he's not turning it over). I would be kind of worried about a rookie guard doing what Wall is supposed to do.

McCollum doesn't have the PG skills. Smart is bulky and more of power player than a speed player. I think he could get the job done, though. Trey Burke is smallish but seems pretty good.

I would trade Wall for Kemba and an unprotected pick or for Jimmer and an unprotected pick.

I hate to agree with you but you are right. Beal is looking like the clear cut face of the franchise. Wall is looking lost in transition. And his attitude on the bench is appealing. I've been one of the biggest Wall supporters since day 1 but I can't defend his performance or attitude tonight.

100% agreed.

Walls issue is that he cant shoot and never will be able to shoot. Also his basketball iq and turnovers continue to dissapoint and it seems like he doesnt want to change.

Beal with another great half.

True - they came back at the same time (well Price 1 game earlier). Hopefully, Wall takes inspiration from Price's play and steps up his performance in the 2nd half. I'm sure he realizes more than anyone that his 1st half performance was not acceptable.

How exactly did you arrive at the conclusion he'll never be able to shoot?

I mean Beal seems to have improved more WITHIN his ROOKIE season than Wall has in 2.5 years. Whether this improvement be attributed to physical mechanics, or the mental aspect of basketball, it kind of tells you how good Beal could possible be, and how Wall may not be on that level.

Again, just my gut feeling.

I am not gonna bury Wall at halftime. He's been back like 15 games from the injury.

How were Beal, Oak and Ariza looking 15 games into the season? Exactly.
Wall is gonna be alright.

I guess I'm just not interested in yanking the hook out every time someone has a bad stretch of games. Without continuity, we're never going to be decent, let alone great. Give this team a year or so to gel and then start making decisions about who to cut and remove.

Does Wall drink? What does he do in his spare time? He does not strike me as very cerebral or intelligent. He does not seem to be growing as a leader or a player, and I wonder about his mental approach and preparation.

Bratty would be a word I echo from someone else in this thread to describe Wall for the most part. Petulant and reactionary more than prepared and poised. Wall is a mixed bag of extremely exceptional talent with some hugely underdeveloped areas all at the same time.

Wall 1 assist 5 turnovers in 10 minutes. Beal 6-9 shooting 12 points 0 turnovers in 18 minutes.

Does Wall drink? I'm pretty sure he drinks in the locker room before games.

I agree 100 percent, someone needs to light a fire under him. Next year is a make or break year for Wall. He has the talent to be a superstar but he has to improve and have the right attitude. I wouldn't be shocked if he's not on the Wizards in 2 years.
