Don't see you guys except when you're playing the Celtics, but he often looks like the second best guy on your team. Any interest in moving him as a rental for two Minny seconds?

For any other GM in the league, this is a no brainer. For this GM, you'd have been better off offering two expired twinkies.
Our GM does not want nor values 2nd rounders.
To be fair, I'm sure the Wizards aren't ready to throw in the towel and commit to tanking. We are still just 2 games out of 8th place and 3 games out of 5th place. Given our lack of depth at PF, dumping Dudley is likely to cost us a couple of wins. Those wins might be the difference in making the playoffs and earning Ted millions in ticket revenue from a playoff series.
If we fell 5 or 6 games behind the 8th seed by the Trade Deadline, then I'd hope to see a trade. But as long as we are still in the mix, there is no chance EG trades win now talent for future picks.
IMHO, the reason the Wizards are losing now is because of Dudley at the 4. And that's not to say that's Dudley's fault--he plays within himself, and overall I'd say he's a good player. But one of the team's biggest problems is that Dudley is physically not able to win matchups as a power forward. He may hit a couple of threes and spread the floor for us offensively, but defensively he can't keep other bigs off the boards and he doesn't challenge in the paint. I think whatever benefit he has on offense and wholly negated by his shortcomings defensively. Again, that's not his fault because he's being forced to play out of position.
I think at this point, if you could get something like 2 2nd rounders for him, you take that and run. Play Nene and Hump at the four and play a real lineup.
