Get Rid of And 1s

Please. It has seriously decreased the quality of posts on this site. Almost any time a thread is started, a majority of the first few pages (definitely the very first page) are just comments/gifs of people that don't really contribute any meaningful discussion. It has basically turned into Instagram where people are posting things just for the likes. I have been a member on this board for almost ten years now and I honestly feel like it was better before the And 1 feature.

In all seriousness, the posts seeking And 1s probably even out the posts people use to make that were justs quotes and “I agree” or “LMAO” or whatever.

And 1s are great. How about adding personal fouls?? A negative post that draws 6 fouls would automatically get sent to the last page of the thread?

First page and+1s have pros and cons. It does bring out some of the most entertaining jokes, while at the same some lame effort fishing and+1s. So let's call that a wash.

Interesting idea.
Would probably be hard to do that program wise and Users could just gang up on people and mess up a thread.
Posts on the last page are not bad though.
