Again quoting your Woj bomb “such an outcome seems unlikely”.
Why would Thunder give up Ferguson? Teams don’t give up 1st round picks on cost controlled salaries. Especially with the promise he has shown.
What team wants Melo for 28 million? He’s just a contract like Dwight Howard.
Why would Sixers want him for 28 million? They already have expiring deals to facilitate trades and cap space for next offseason. Melo’s contract is less flexible than the contracts they already have.
Again OKC are not giving up future assets, and won’t want to take on any big long term salaries in a trade.
Trade partners? Think of teams needing cap relief to get under the tax line and are willing to give up a role player for it. They’ll also need a large expiring deal.
Bwaaahaaaahaa. You can't stop, huh.
You went from "worst theory ever" to hoops rumors saying its "unlikely", like all trade suggestions.. Do you see how far from grace you've fallen?
OKC saves $20m and gets a forward in chandler who will contribute much more than ferguson and johnson. Or do you disagree with this too? LMAO.
The Sixers get young players you just mentioned the paragraph before. You don't even listen to your own self! BWWAAAAAHHHAAAAHHAAAH
This is the best part. You said, "won’t want to take on any big long term salaries in a trade." BWaahahaa. Which one of Chandler, Bayless or Holmes is a longterm contract?
More, please. More!!!!!!
You do realize they did not trade for Chandler for the purpose to move him. They actually want him on the roster and believe he is a very good fit moving forward for this coming season. It is just a dumb trade in general that only makes sense so they can move Melo. I am pretty sure Chandler cannot be moved again for a certain amount of time but I see him being moved for Melo as a long shot and not happening. Maybe Miami or Houston can help but 76ers are intent to play the year out with Wilson Chandler
No he doesn’t realise. Sixers got Chandler cause he fits, and they retain flexibility for trades.
OKC can’t trade a first until 2022, so they don’t have much to attract trades, and they’ll need cost controlled players around Adams/George/Westbrook.
The only teams that would consider trading for Anthony are teams looking to get under tax line, and OKC won’t want to take back more money than the 28 million they send out.
The teams looking to dump salary won’t be contenders, so Anthony will block trade unless he’s guaranteed buyout.
