Going on a road trip later this week and next, going to see Fever/Storm live in Indiana! It will be my first real WNBA game (I saw the exhibition game of Sky/Lynx that came to Toronto). I'm pretty stoked.

Enjoy my friend. I can't wait to go back to Barclay's myself

Thursday we have a double header incoming:

8pm: Mercury vs Sky (Prime)

9pm: Liberty vs Sparks (ESPN)

Annoyed.

Headed to Seattle soon, and the Storm are in a huge lull in their schedule, with only one away game.

Yeah next 3 games are away including a Sunday afternoon clash against the Fever.

They basically come back right when I leave. :noway:

Hopefully catch the Reign, or Mariners to get some sports in.

Look who's making their official debuts in NBA2K25: :D

From what I was told by a few folks who are heavy into 2K, the game received a major overhaul in terms of graphics and mechanics.

I haven't played in years but I am leaning towards diving in this season to play as the Liberty, Fever, Sky etc.

Should be fun, but I'll get it when the next season is complete and on sale for $20.

I just don't have enough play time to pay $60 for sports games that come out every year.

I'm there with you, I just don't have enough time or energy for it. My gaming backlog is really bad right now

I just wanna run a few games as my Liberty

Good idea right? While Indiana isn't a summer time destination -- the Fever fans will pack the house and events anyways so it will be worth it. They just better start producing All-Star jerseys now because they sold out of Clark ones in minutes. They'll need a pop up WNBA store with everyone's jerseys and lots of other teams gear on top of all-star gear!

I was hoping San Francisco would get to host one right away, but i'm betting they get an All-Star game in the first few years. Vegas should always be an option every year until attendance really goes through the roof and fans decide to travel for the weekend event.

Is it supposed to be? I stopped buying this and madden because they keep repackaging the same game with very miniscule upgrades. might be the first one i buy in a while

There's already online arguments on how Caitlin Clark & Angel Reese are both rated 90 overall in the game lol. Brink, Cardoso, & Jackson are all 80 overall rating.

All this is good imo. Its the outside chatter that happens in the men's game with fans and now we have fans caring about WNBA ratings?! Who would have thought.

Those seem fair enough for the rookies. Of course, if A'ja or Stewart are 89s, that is indeed a problem!

Right!?? The fact that people are arguing about this is great  I really think I'm gonna buy the game just for the ladies. I really hope they put as much detail into the W side of the game as the men got or I will feel ripped off. I'm gonna wait til I see some reviews from WNBA fans first.

Now, personally, I think 2K was being overly generous by giving CC and Angel 90s. Rookies shouldn't be ranked that high imo even though both of them are having historical rookie campaigns. If anything, mid to lower 80s for both, since they are both flawed and have things to work on.

I would have given Angel an 82, and CC an 84. Angel's rebounding and defense are elite, CC's handle and passing are elite. I think that's a good overall score.

The rest of the rookies should be in the 70s imo. Jackson might be in the low 80s if we're being generous. 80 at best. Brink and Cardoso should not be rated that high (Brink's shot blocking would give her a big boost though).

A'ja being 99 is the only rating I agree with. She is the top dog.

I would rank Stewie and Phee the same tbh, at 96. I don't think Griner is a 94 at this point.

A'ja is a 99, Stewie is a 97.

As stated, the rookie ratings are too high in my opinion, but most likely they gave both CC and Angel 90s to avoid being harassed by their fanbases. 90 is just way too high for unpolished rookies.

This is more off-season post, but here's a mockdraft for the 25 draft

Not looking like a deep draft. 2 player draft with Bueckers and Kiki. Not too excited as a Valkyrie fan, but again the college season hasn't even started for someone to pop up and stand out. Morrow can be nice if the Mystics don't go for her.
