Add a couple of rebounds, takeaway a couple of fouls and she'd already be a really high level player. Impressive rookie season.

The fouling will clean up as she learns. I don't see her rebounding being an issue...will she average double figures like she did at Stanford? I don't know, she's gonna have to stronger, but she had a few + 7 rebound games already.
What jumps out to me really is the high end efficiency (66% TS!) and the 3.2 blocks per. That right there is elite stuff from a rookie.
Cam and Rickea might be a championship duo one day. If I was a Sparks fan I'd be beside myself

I think Brink has MVP type of potential down the line.
She's not in a big scoring role right now, so it's hard to project some of her offensive potential. I think she's already a DPOY candidate as a rookie and when I watch her she just doesn't miss shots or make bad decisions.

Sad to see her just rot in the corner. Also really not impressed with her coach. I've seen every team besides Washington and this looks like the worst coached team.

She is supremely talented but this isn't winning basketball. Also, there are several other players who can put up numbers in an offense like this (think Mike D'Antoni and [insert pg]). It's just that nobody gets this opportunity for good reason.
Another hot take. I don't think this Fever team is bad. It's looks about middle of the pack.

Mike D'Antoni is like the most influential offensive coach of the modern era. Don't see how that's a gimmick.

If you put any scoring guard in a high pick-and-roll they will get stats. It doesn't necessarily mean you are playing well or playing winning basketball.
Right now there are several players you could switch with CC with and the team would be better. There are several teams that could pick a player and just spam high pick and roll, that player would get more stats but the team would likely be worse.
Right now she can't handle this much usage. It's like when Michael Carter Williams/Tyreke Evans won ROTY (it wasn't a recipe for winning). Obviously CC is more talented but similarly, its not winning basketball at this point. She has to get a lot better to be able to handle this much responsibility and usage. And with that said, nobody has ever won a title with an offense like that.

I think any analysis of the Fever has to acknowledge their schedule to start the season. I've said it before but it bears repeating.
Besides the 2 games against the Sparks (which they split), the Fever have only played the projected top 4 teams in the league. New York twice, Conneticut twice, Las Vegas and Seattle. I think even a huge Fever optimist could have only hoped for beating the Sparks twice and stealing 1 game from the contenders. Them being 1-7 isn't a disapointment, it was always the most likely outcome of their first 8 games. They still have to play Seattle and New York over their next 3 games (the other is against Chicago and they've got to go hard for that one!).]
I think we'll learn more about the Fever in the middle part of the season. Right now they're simply losing games they're supposed to lose against teams that are simply WAY better than them. It makes your offense look worse when you go up against elite defense, and you defense is worse for going up against elite offense. That's almost all we've seen them do so far.
