Yeah... and it may pale in comparison to the nonsense in that epic collapse against Portland, but the substitutions have been terrible.

He's headed for a triple double thanks to our routine double team of anybody that touches the ball in the post.

It's amazing that a guy that long and athletic can be so bad at getting rebounds.

He's supposed to be a defensive coach yet we have the worst defense in the league. I guess the only thing he's good at is developing players aka just putting our youngest players on the floor for more than 20 minutes a game.

He's too skinny to get any position.

We gave David West a triple double. It's time to stop double teaming players unless they're headed for 30 points.

I feel so bad for Kemba that we didn't get Carl Landry this summer. He would have made things so much easier.

We should've tried to get Scola instead of Haywood. Won't complain though. Haywood's a bargain for what he does.

Add D.J. Augustin to the 3-point list.

He's a seven-footer, which is nice to have, but Haywood looks pretty much done to me.

Biz looks like a natural compared to Warrick. Once Biz gets his mitts on it, that ball is his. A gentle breeze can knock the ball out of Hakim's grasp.

Nomination for post of the year. I would have had a woody if we had gotten Scola.

I think this is the 3rd straight game that Kemba hasn't gotten as many shots up. Teams are really starting to bottle him up.

Impressions:

I get that we suck, I'm not a Dunlap hater, and I'm all aboard the Shabazz/Mclemore train - but the defensive gimmickry really needs to stop. I'd rather see our guys getting honestly beat than to see us continue to give up threes and open baskets due to continuous zones, unnecessary double teams, sinking in from the perimeter and all around defensive confusion...really hard to watch. There is no reason we can't be a halfway decent defensive team through employing basic man principles. Adrien, Haywood, and Biz are all capable post defenders - it's not like we're playing 3 on 5.

Hendo is a career back up. 2K13 recently impressed me with its astuteness - the Houston Rockets (who I traded Hendo to for Terrence Jones and a 1st rounder) signed him in the offseason to a 3 year, 9 million dollar deal. Kudos computer brain.

Kemba has to be best one-on-one break defender in the league - over the last 10 or so, it's become odd not to see him strip the opposing player on the break.

I guess the only positive thing to come out of the game is we looked really bad and still hung around until the the end. Also, Adrien continues to look like a bona fide tough guy.

Vogel used backup center Ian Mahinmi over starter Roy Hibbert in the final quarter because of Hibbert's struggles with guarding pick-and-rolls on the perimeter, especially against quick guards like Walker.

I thought it was cool to read and nice to know that Kemba warrants enough respect from an elite defensive team like the Pacers for them to bench their All-Star center in Roy Hibbert down the stretch in efforts to contain him.
