Impressions:
I get that we suck, I'm not a Dunlap hater, and I'm all aboard the Shabazz/Mclemore train - but the defensive gimmickry really needs to stop. I'd rather see our guys getting honestly beat than to see us continue to give up threes and open baskets due to continuous zones, unnecessary double teams, sinking in from the perimeter and all around defensive confusion...really hard to watch. There is no reason we can't be a halfway decent defensive team through employing basic man principles. Adrien, Haywood, and Biz are all capable post defenders - it's not like we're playing 3 on 5.
Hendo is a career back up. 2K13 recently impressed me with its astuteness - the Houston Rockets (who I traded Hendo to for Terrence Jones and a 1st rounder) signed him in the offseason to a 3 year, 9 million dollar deal. Kudos computer brain.
Kemba has to be best one-on-one break defender in the league - over the last 10 or so, it's become odd not to see him strip the opposing player on the break.
I guess the only positive thing to come out of the game is we looked really bad and still hung around until the the end. Also, Adrien continues to look like a bona fide tough guy.
