The Bulls for Boozer after he underperforms once again and they get knocked out of the playoffs easily.

I read somewhere that Reinsdorf hates Ben Gordon. So it's very unlikely that they would trade for him.

Reinsdorf cheap a*s beefed with all of his top players from Jordan, Pippen, Gordon, and now soon to be Rose.

Jordan made 30 million one year. Not sure about Pippen but I think (not sure) the Bulls offered Gordon a 50 million dollar contract that he declined, and Rose has a max deal.

Haha, literally exactly what I was thinking when I first saw his post...I just didn't have the motivation to sign in and say it.

I'm not referring to personal/individual salary when I speak of Jordan (and soon to be Rose) having a strained relationship with Reinsdorf. Do your research. Reinsdorf isn't exactly a player's favorite type of owner like the late great Jerry Buss was.

...and if you were referring to Gordon not being like the others, well he was the Bulls leading scorer for 4 of the 5 seasons he was there and played a major part in 4 playoff appearances during that span so he was a top player for the Bulls at one point of time.

He's accomplished more than the rest of our team combined. Really annoying that people rag on him constantly.
Humble yourself.

yes, i understood what you were saying and the history of reinsdorf lowballing his players. was just funny to see gordon listed next to jordan, pippen and rose.

you dont think that gordon deserves the criticism he has received the past few years of his career? what he did the first 5 years of his career is largely irrelevant now and even his accomplishments in chicago arent that impressive. he signed a big contract and then never lived up to his salary afterwards. he doesnt play defense (or even appear to try playing any longer). he can barely dribble, which is concerning for a guard who supposedly works hard in practice, and most recently he acted out against his coach in front of the team and general manager. he has a career per of 15.4. gordon is an average to slightly above average combo guard for his entire career, even when he was scoring 20ppg and he is getting paid like an elite talent.

Gordon is not getting paid like an elite talent. He makes 2nd/3rd option money and despite how miserable he's been looking he's still our best scorer if you want to use advanced stats because he'd be averaging 20 points with starter minutes. I do agree that he deserves some criticism but let's not act like he's one of the worst players on the team and shouldn't get any minutes.

I would've thought BG was playing like Matt Carroll the way how some posters critique him as if he's not a upgrade from the previous backup guards.

fair enough, "elite" wasnt the best choice of words, but he is getting paid like an all-star or borderline all-star. but, thats not really his fault. he got the deal, good for him.

offensively we all know ben is up there with kemba, sessions and hendo among best on the team, but what he gives up defensively and other areas doesnt justify getting more minutes. we cant play him at point guard because he isnt better than kemba or sessions and he cant handle the ball effectively enough. when we play him at shooting guard it takes away minutes from sessions and henderson who both impact the game more than gordon. we cant play him at small forward because we get destroyed on the boards. he is stuck on a team whose 4 best offensive players are all guards and he is #4 in the pecking order and rightfully so based on his play so far this year.
