I don't know, I definitely am holding out hope that Curry comes to Charlotte but who knows.

There's potential for major change in the NBA over the next few years. Lots of franchises have tons of cap space available, not even taking into account the cap going up. The following teams have less than $45M in guaranteed contracts next season - PHI, SAS, NYK, ORL, POR, BOS, ATL, PHO, and DAL. As things stand now, only ten teams have more than $45M in guaranteed contracts extending into the 2016-17 season.

There are so many teams with cap space in the next couple seasons that cap space itself is not going to be enough to attract FAs. I think having a base of young, energetic role players that are at worst borderline elite defenders is going to be a positive for us when we are trying to land top tier FAs.

You are right on the money here, I agree completely. That said Curry is THE free agent for us, no one else comes close. Durant, WB, Horford, Griffin, etc. aren't going to seriously consider us Curry will.

If Love was looking at situations objectively he'd take a hard look at us because he won't find a better fit for his skillset/limitations than playing between MKG/Biz. But with the Lakers having an empty cap I don't think there's much of a possibility he goes anywhere other than there if he decides to leave Cleveland. So in summary it's all about Curry.

Honestly this season has about done me in. The team is no fun. I honestly don't care if any of the guys from this year are back next year with the exception of MKG. And Spudwebb was right about him. He's a 2nd or 3rd man on a roster.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Aside from the Knicks we are probably in one of the worst situations in the NBA. No top 75 player after 4 seasons of rebuilding and little assets to trade for one

Our basketball decision makers have been a complete disaster going back to the birth of the Bobcats. The current group is no exception. I have lost all faith in Cho to make a half decent draft pick. His strengths in cap management (which are average at best) and trading (small parts for better small parts) is completely overshadowed by his awful draft record.

Our PG is average. Our SG is average, but only because the SG position is totally weak. Our SF still can't hit a 3, our starting PF is a vagina when it comes to being aggressive. Our starting center looks like hes 65 years old. Biyombo still looks like a project going into his 5th year in the league.

Not even going to talk about Vonleh.

Its laughable.
