I'd take Gobert over Biyombo rather easily, and any non homerish Charlotte fan would as well.
Good luck with that though. Most Charlotte fans think he is the next Ben Wallace.
Last year Gobert averaged 3.9 turnovers and 12.6 points per 100 possessions. Biz averaged 1.9 turnovers and 10.8 points per 100 possessions. Funny how Biz turns the ball over at such a lower rate for a guy who can't catch anything.
Do you mean the Ben Wallace who never averaged 10 points per 36 minutes and never shot over 50% from the free throw line?
Ben Wallace career stats per 36 min: 7pts, 11.8 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 1.5 steals, 47% from the field, 41% from the free throw line, 1.2 turnovers
Biz stats per 36 from last season: 7.5 pts 12.3 rebounds, 2.9 blocks, 0.2 steals, 61% from the field, 51% from the free throw line, 1.3 turnovers
Ben Wallace like most big men peaked between 27 and 31. Biz is younger then Ben Wallace was as a rookie in the NBA.
So, tell me. Do you think Biyombo is the next Ben Wallace?
Edit: Not hating, but I think Biyombo is closer to 25 than anything. Anf alot of executives think that is true according to Zach Lowe. And per 36 stats are useless when a guy played 15 minutes game last season.
