sarunas "Jazzy cabbage" is what we call one of my favorite point guards from the early 90s. He was so much fun to watch with Maryland and then also with his national team.

from our AI overlords

Alright, buckle up, future gravity bong engineer! We're about to dive into the sophisticated (ahem) art of creating a gravity-powered smoking device. Remember, this is purely for informational purposes.

The Arsenal: You'll need a sturdy bottle, a bucket or larger container filled with water, aluminum foil, a poking device (pen, paper clip etc.) and your smoking products..

Bottle Prep: Cut the bottom off your bottle. Seriously, the whole thing. You want an open tube.

Foil Time: Fashion a foil bowl that fits snugly into the bottle's mouth. Think tiny, shiny volcano. Poke some small holes in the foil for airflow, but not too many, or your product will fall straight through.

Water Works: Submerge your bottle in the bucket of water, leaving the foiled bowl above the surface.

Load Up: Pack your product into the foil bowl. Gentlemen, start your engines!

Ignition and Lift-Off: Light the bowl while slowly pulling the bottle upwards out of the water. The vacuum will suck the smoke into the bottle and fill with smoke.

Inhale: Remove the foil bowl, cover the bottle opening with your mouth, and gently push the bottle back down into the water. This forces the smoke into your lungs. Brace yourself!

Cough (Optional): It's practically a rite of passage.

And there you have it! A homemade gravity bong. Use responsibly (or not at all, wink wink).

We used to poke/melt a hole into the bottle lid which a standard cone piece would sit in.

Marijuana is not a serious drug, but we can take that to the OT thread if you want to dive in there

Explain this then

"I didn't think I had failed my physical. That didn't even cross my mind. The night I got traded I played hella minutes. I didn't think in any world that was possible. Since I've been back at the start of the year, I've played games with a lot of minutes. I feel like every injury I've had has been well-documented and I've recovered, and been 100% since. So, I don't know what went into that decision. I think that's up to them."

I have no idea what you're talking about, is this just you making stuff up? When was PJ or Mark ever late for anything?

What possible connection does their play have to do with whether they use marijuana?

Smoking weed too close to a game results in the player playing high sometimes, which changes athletic performance as any stoner can attest. Sometimes the reaction speed is there - looks sharp. Others it looks like the game moves too fast. PJ had stretches where he looked like a completely different player. Mark has those dominant spurts that seem missing in the first half of games most of the time. Then the lackluster play subsides magically after halftime.

i had a friend who always played his best stoned and I sort of understood it. he said it sort of quietened the noise in his head and allowed him to concentrate easier and play free. probably help stopped the yips creep in.

Mark played well enough and was out there at the end with his head up getting the W. Good job letting the game be the the answer to the BS.

Seems like the Lakers did the Hornets and Mark dirty and we took the high road. Lots of wild posts this week from the Debbie's of RGM spinning this in all sorts of directions but I am glad he came back ready to play and be a part of the team again.
