Cough (Optional): It's practically a rite of passage.

Looks like he's been smoking a ton of weed. There's no testing in the NBA, so it's fine. But is this PJ Washington all over again? I'm great. No, I'm slow. Great again. Slow again. Just chilling out today. Dominant this time. Next time slept in late.

I have no idea what you're talking about, is this just you making stuff up? When was PJ or Mark ever late for anything?

What possible connection does their play have to do with whether they use marijuana?

Smoking weed too close to a game results in the player playing high sometimes, which changes athletic performance as any stoner can attest. Sometimes the reaction speed is there - looks sharp. Others it looks like the game moves too fast. PJ had stretches where he looked like a completely different player. Mark has those dominant spurts that seem missing in the first half of games most of the time. Then the lackluster play subsides magically after halftime.

i had a friend who always played his best stoned and I sort of understood it. he said it sort of quietened the noise in his head and allowed him to concentrate easier and play free. probably help stopped the yips creep in.
