Fix his 3 pointer shot this summer. He'll be great next season.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

“The lows don’t affect me the way they used to anymore.”

Yes, not too high, not too low, just keep making plays after plays, and protect the ball first.
often watching from the corner as James Harden handled the team’s creative responsibilities.

With the Lakers last season, he seemed miscast in the team’s ponderous offensive system.

No, no, that's good, he learned alot, the problem was that he played too well and could have won them some games and lose the pick.
Jefferson said the entire team had attended the final session of the regular season.

That should be pretty good for chemistry
“He’s a much, much better defender than people realize,” Clifford said. “He competes hard every night, and he’s a very serious player.”

Cliff loves him as a defender, keeps him on Wade and pays off.
Clifford predicted Lin’s 3-point-shooting percentage would rise starting next season.

“I think he’s got another big jump in his game,” Clifford said.

Sounds good!

Per Cliff:
Clifford offered similar praise for Lin’s work ethic. He called him a serious player who puts in extra work every day. Since last summer, Lin’s focus has been on altering his jump shot — still a weak point in his game — with help from a shooting coach. Clifford predicted Lin’s 3-point-shooting percentage would rise starting next season.

Lin and Big AI's chemistry is not as good as Zeller/Hawes.

Pretty sure it's even more pronounced after four games.
gom wrote:Jeremy Lin is a great player and a golden teammate. Marvin Williams is a better player than we've seen so far.

With Williams, Hansborough, Lin, Batum, Daniels, and Jefferson all free agents this summer, Charlotte front office will be very busy. Any feeling for whether Lin stays in Charlotte? He seems to love it there.

Problem is that there might not be enough money and pt to go around. If Kemba (star), Lee (Cliff's fav), Batum (Kemba's point forward), MKG (best player?) are all back, there'd be not enough pt to go around. If Batum gets max, Marvin and Lee get paid, and maybe even Whiteside, there won't be enough money. It's Lin's prime contract afterall, gotta be careful. Another 1+1 might be possible. Otherwise, most likely gonna get a starting job somewhere.

Looks like Lin fans are putting up youtube videos of Marv now. I guess after Lin writing on reddit that Marv ties with Jared Jeffries as the best teammate he's ever had, they've adopted Marv the way they've done with some past JLin teammates. This clip ends with JLin pulling Marv aside to offer words of advice and encouragement on the court.

I wonder if Marv is the Hornets player that JLin takes with him on his Asia tour this summer.

Hopefully, Marv can play better in the remainder of the series. He's performed well in the regular season, and he'll need to do it in the playoffs as well if the Hornets are to be competitive against the Heat.

Lin showing some good leadership and support for a teammate, good to see.

i like these three as a unit, u can maximize Lin's role, and they played terrific defense together...

It's nice, Hawes stretches the floor and can make good passes. Cody does well PnR. Wish they had more time together in the regular season. Not too late tho!
Teddyb wrote:I must say, and I'm not trying to offend anyone here but I'm taking great pleasure in seeing the rockets go down the way they are......this is a dysfunctional team.....Harden will never win....ever,...no one likes tho guy :)

Just sayin

Harden is selfish, but ultimately it's on McFail and Morey to spoil him and let him do whatever.

2k15 wrote:lin needs to up his conditioning or something during the offseason if he wants to be a starter. he's not built to play his style of game for more than 30 minutes per game.

he was very out of his element in the 4th quarter. a couple of head-scratching turnovers and defensive miscues which i attribute to fatigue.

The thing is, the starters who play 30+ minutes play around 10, rest for several minutes, play for several minutes to end halves, whereas Lin plays straight thru. He usually gets on the court with 3 to 4 minutes left in the 1st/3rd quarter but now with 6 left. I think he'll be fine if he starts.

gom wrote:
There's no question. Lin is a fierce competitor.

With respect to free agency, I think the only reason he would be tempted to leave the Hornets is the same issue that faced the Heat with Whiteside when Bosh was starting. Quite clearly, Jeremy Lin should be starting somewhere at point guard, or at least getting a respectable number of minutes. His impact on the court cannot be overstated, but he needs to be given enough minutes to put his mark on the game. Charlotte already has an exceptional point guard, an all-star in Kemba Walker.

It's a real problem.

No kidding, it would have been nice if Lin starts and Kemba comes off the bench. With the way Kemba's playing it's extremely unlikely that happens. It makes sense strategically and it still might happen for this team to be a contender. Add a elite big or if Frank grow into one.

Bad coaching, not calling timeout by McFail but those rockets fans blamed Lin for that.

Some hideous beings in CFascists. Terrible modding. Terrible coaching as well. Lin's smart, he knows that he needs a good coach to up his game.

TinmanZBoy wrote:you guys only put eyes on a clique of fans on internet... but ignore there are tons of Rockets fans who appreciate lin's contribution to the team and the Houston community... individually, lin's best years are still the two years in Rockets

Lin's first game back in Houston, there was tons of cheers. It's just a bad website.

OTOH, Lin's best years are still to come!

He did some serious sacrificing on his reputation to get his team dem picks? Or no one was gonna hire him anyways?

phillycheese wrote:"I have to deal with this bull from Lin? Chalmers ain't die for this."

~lol~ Linsanity has been released from the spell by Cole, LBJ and Charmin'!
"Deng gets hammered by Lin and they're looking at who the ball is offa of" - since when does Lin hammer anyone?

Well, maybe not hammer but headbutt on Deng?

spaceballer wrote:Looks like Holly the accidental tattoo girl finally met Jeremy. Hilarious read in her twitter timeline. Runs through Jeremy's brother, Kemba, MJ, Dikembe, Kemba's entire family, before she finally met Jeremy with all those obstacles in the way

So, Hornets have won all 3 games she attended. Someone should fly her and her good luck charm tattoo down to Miami for game 5 to secure the win. If the Hornets lose game 5, we can blame MJ for being too cheap to spring for a plane ticket.

Someone pay her!

Must have been a friggin unreal experience for her!

Lin usually goes to full attack mode when he is in 4thQtr.

If he facilitates teammates more, he can save more energy.

Except Lin and Walker, almost all teammates scored single digit.
They should move the ball better.
