We have a roster made up of mostly kids, and the vets are over the hill. It may take a while for this team to get anywhere. I don't think the plan was ever to be good before 2015, and that's if we had gotten Captain Unibrow. So why are you guys suprised when we get blown out? Even the good teams get blown out every once and a while.
The plan for any aspiring franchise is to elevate themselves as fast as possible to a championship level team. Now I think it is more than fair to say that we didn't expect to be good until 2015, but if the plan trully is to suck until 2015- then we have a problem. Also I'm surprised that we get blown out night in and night out because I believe our current roster isn't performing to its best ability. We are terrible, thats true. But lets be real here, there is no reason why we should lose by 20 to the Raptors (and fail to score 80 points), there is no reason why we should get absolutely blown out by the Cavs. Im not so disappointed in our losing, but how we are doing it. I get it, even the best teams get blown out occasionally, and we really haven't been blown out super often this season (compared to last season), but I hate it that since Jan 11th we have only reached the 100 point mark in 2 games, and in 8 of the 18 games we have played we have failed to hit 90. In contrast, during that same 18 game stretch 11 of our opponents have scored 100 or more points on us. Also between December 3rd and December 26th, every game we played our opponents scored over 100 on us, 6 of those games featured teams scoring at least 110 on us. We are the worst team in the league, but is there ever really an excuse for allowing a team to beat you by 15 or more? At what point can we say that the Bobcats play is unacceptably bad? As a fan I know its a privileged to get to watch the team, to get to see the great athletes in the NBA, but I don't think it is to much to want to be entertained and to be disappointed when you aren't given that the NBA's sole purpose is to entertain. The past 2 years have been especially tough to watch, but moreover its been rough to follow the franchise for basically the past decade.
