Exactly. Let's just ignore that Allen is a monster on the boards, protects the rim and runs the floor.
The dude plays above the rim as well, another lob threat for LaMelo, you know, the cornerstone of our rebuild.
PJ's outside shooting is replaced by guess who? Our stretch 4 Miles Bridges!
Seems there's some push back going on by those who wanted to bury Bridges and sell him off for a late first round pick in a **** draft. The Bridges bashing has been put on hold.
This doesn't fit their narrative.
So I guess we want to dump PJ on the side of the road all of a sudden.
Oh my!
Allen didn't reach an agreement. Neither did Markannen. Supposedly Allen wants Capela money 5 years 90 million. If you think about it it's only 3 million per season more than we're paying Zeller.
And damn, he's the same age as PJ!
Turner makes 17.5 so he's right around the same price, can protect the rim and shoot threes. I kind of want the better defender though so we can neutralize players in the paint like Giannis, Embiid, Vuc and Capela, while competing for rebounds. We can't do that with Turner. And I believe we have more than enough three point shooting. Devonte' - Rozier - Hayward are all excellent and Miles is decent with room for improvement. Ball, Monk, Martins and McDaniels can all potentially establish their outside shooting.
I'd consider PJ for Turner though.
