I can't see Lee being interested in Mr. Midrange Brandon Ingram. 40%+ of his fga are coming in the midrange this year.

This is the move. Melo can't be the only shot creator in the starting unit. We need another ball handler/playmaker.
I would only give up 1 pick for Ingram tho as we also have to sign him to a long-term deal.

I was wondering if the rockets might be willing to move Jabari with both Eason and Whitmore readyJMAC3 wrote:Cam Whitmore could be an interesting target similar to Tre Mann. Idk if Rockets would be moving him, but he currently isn’t in rotation and not getting the development he needs.

I'm sure the price would be high and no clue what they'd want that we could offer. Doubt they want more picks. I think Jabari might fit better than miles in this offense.
Miles and richards for Jabari
Picks and filler to even out on either side.

KembaWalker wrote:The thing I dont like about the “let’s wait and see LaMelo stay healthy for a year before we commit to getting him help” is that it’s treating his health issues as a hurdle that can just be cleared and suddenly it’s in the rear view mirror and I don’t think it’s realistic to look at it like that
Melo could by some miracle play all 82 games this season, gain the faith that he’s worth building around, and then blow out his knee in game 1 of preseason next year. And we’ll just be sitting there miserably wishing we didn’t waste a year of a healthy 30 ppg superstar level season for nothing
The commitment is already made, he’s under contract. If he rolls his ankle tomorrow we aren’t going to trade him His health is gonna be a constant maintenance project for the rest of his career like every other player. Dude needs some help

LaMelo is even better than them and he's won nothing.
Says nothing about LaMelo.

Maybe Philly decides to blow it up and Paul George becomes available. That's probably the only other situation I can see for us.
