Yeah, and his take on the Riley/Miami situation was nothing but professional; even spoke highly about the Arison family (owners of the Miami franchise).

And he also had his humor, as he always does, during his press conferences.

The Suns have always been a run and gun team for as long as I can remember. Several years ago when they obtained Barkley they tried to change their image. It didn't work then and it won't work now with a washed up Shaq.

Am I the only one that thinks Marion is about to get exposed? The Majority of Marions points come off of Nash's dimes. Marion no longer has a playmaker like that no and will have to rely more on creating his own shot. Which he is mediocre at. Id take a motivated Shaq in Phoenix's lineup over a Shawn Marion without Steve Nash on the worst team in the league ANY day!

Yes, you are the only one. Marion was an All-Star without Nash and managed to score with Marbury and Barbosa. He will not get "exposed," though his efficiency will certainly drop.

His greatest skill aside from rebounding has always been off-ball movement/positioning; he's always in the right place to receive a pass.

And traditionally, he's also a very good offensive rebounder.

It seems like Heat fans always catch a break. Shaq delivered a title two years ago and now they ship his aging butt and his massive contract to the team that is desperate for a title. They receive a four-time All-Star and a solid PG in return. Miami definitely got the better end of the deal and Phoenix is falling to pieces. If they (Miami) finish with a top-three pick in this year's star studded draft then I will hate this team for as long as I can remember.

It's karmic retribution. We had to deal with the Knicks and Zo's kidney disease. Believe me, Heat fans have paid their dues...

That was one of the best interivews I've ever seen, earlier. TNT's great.

Charles and Kenny asked great questions... and on a number of those things - what a spin job by Kerr! Especially on the system/roster, Gasol-reaction, and Marion-reason questions and answers.

Could tell Charles after the interivew was not liking, believing in things too much. And that's justified.

Kerr did what he could do, because he's the Suns GM. But between those guys, Kerr's bias aside, there are things he said that were reaches, or not favoring, to happen.

Also aside from the other topics mentioned, the stuff about the medical staff w/ Shaq was convenient to say by Kerr - but this is Shaq here. Especially with what's gone on with him in recent years, his aging/declining, and the inevitable with his health, and possibly motivation.

So Ron Kulp (I think) and his staff in Miami are a level off compared to Phoenix's med staff? I don't buy it. Shaq can still play for sure and be effective to an extent, but there's going to be a number of bumps, cracks, and roadblocks.

In addition, Kerr said tonight he didn't like the team as it was before for the playoffs, for the title, and against the big men. Also that the spark was lacking.

D'Antoni has said twice this year, before and after the Shaq trade that he feels they were and still are the best team in the NBA, and can legitimately win it all.

D'Antoni repeated that stance today on PTI. The first time he said it was at one of the last two Laker games.

That's just a definite contradiction, not only between Kerr and D'Antoni generally, but from what Kerr said about the team and about D'Antoni tonight. This just hasn't been realized from the both of them, and will stay that way, I'd guess (which is for the best for the Suns). Unless the media picks it up and puts it out there.

I loved that, for what he asked Charles asked just what was needed to be.

Our medical staff is easily one of, if not THE best in the entire league.

McDyess, Kidd, Nash (zero back problems now), Amare (all those knee surgeries), Hill (couldn't even dream of playing without being hurt, look now, only an appendicitis he has no control over has kept him out)

I trust them in keeping Shaq healthy.

Ron Kulp is a Hall of Famer. Is your medical staff so ridiculously better?

Okay. Definitely a nice track record (and so far for the current guys).

But they (any staff) can only do so much, which is definitely significant in the contribution - but still can't really control what goes on in the games. The coaching staff and players can't worry about it much. That's how it is for everybody, it just varies on the possibility and if there are specifics of the players situation.

This especially relates to Shaq.

I can't buy into Shaq being relatively healthy (even for the playoffs, as shown last year) over the next 2 1/2 years, regardless of the medical staff. The reality is his health is questionable at best, and the past evidence of injuries and the aging, makes his health not reliable. That can't be overlooked, and the opposite of things with his health, can't be put down as a good possibility.

It's just how it is, unfortunately for he and the Suns, until things change dramatically from how it's been (and with Shaq getting older). The key to everything is the health.

I'll own up to being wrong if I am, but I like many others am justified in the view-point.

Shaq will make them better defensively. That's all I can say now, I would have to see the offense and how it would affect after I looked at their first or second game with him.
