They are one of the top defensive teams in the league and they have 3 guys who can outright kill you. They are going to win games wherever they play. Biggest point diff in the league is also an indication of their play.

Every statistics you are talking about is biased by the fact that Boston plays in the EC so they play NBDL teams 5 nights out of 8.

1) Yes, Boston plays great D. However, they defensive efficiency rating is helped by the incompetency of EC offense.

2) Yes, Boston has a great record against WC teams. However, they get the benefit of cruising to victories against NBDL teams most nights while the WC teams have to fight to death night in night out.

I don't question Boston being a great team. They are. But thinking that their current statistics indicate how well they can do in the WC is naive.
