I agree, this game only pushed Durant forward a little bit. What an average game for both of them.

My thought as well. Just thought "Big winner from tonight's MIA-IND game is Kevin Durant."
OKC is only 1 game back of IND, and they already beat them with Durant doing very well in the game.
Could be KD's year.

He may not have lit up the stat sheet, but George showed me a lot tonight. He started slow, but was able to adjust to the Miami defense after the half to help lead his team to victory(due credit to Roy Hibbert). Miami and LeBron got on him early, but he never shelled up, fought back, and eventually his shot started falling. Plus, he gave you A+ defense on Wade/LBJ. Given the situation, it's hard to be disappointed.
Hats off

Durant with at least 30-10-5 for the second straight game. He's going bonkers this month.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
“It is,” he said. “It is a tougher matchup. I watch their games, I watch a lot of NBA games. And offensively, KD is most of the times he’s scoring in bunches off of iso plays and one-on-one plays.
“And when they play against us, he’s moving a lot. He’s the screener, he’s getting back-screened and he’s coming off pin-downs and it’s a little different when I’m guarding him and it makes it a tougher cover.”

Wasn't his best game though, missed 4 ft's and was sloppy with the ball. But he did close out the game out defensively after Atlanta cut the lead early in the 4th. All in all, it was a solid showing.
On another note; looks to be on the cusp of developing into a 28-29ppg / 9-10rpg / 5-6apg / 60+ts% type of player. Rare company.

He has a better offensive skills than Lebron, he is a better rebounder! In the other hand Lebron has become a turnover machine!
Give it already to Durant!

All, and I mean ALL his field goals made were absolutely easy. He just went to the rim and scored without any resistance. And yet, the rest of his attempts were long 2's after some jab steps. I don't get it.
.
His stats are amazing, by he is going down in my MVP list just because of his coasting. Last night he made no efford to get his team back in the game. Overpassing, turnovers, settling for jumpers...I swear at least 7 of his 10 misses were stupid long shots he could have avoided by just going to the rim and getting the and 1.
.
16 attempts and 17 points on a loss as he saw his team not make the shots they would usually make is disappointing.
.
Right now, he's at 3 for me. I don't get Lebron. You're the best player in the league, why not go for 30 if they're giving you the space to do it? If he's the most efficient player in the world also, shooting more means his team benefits.
This is fascinating. Durant is famous as a scorer, and was not long ago derided for sub-par defense. Jackson is a guy who can create his own shot. But they can, evidently, make you feel them on defense.
A lot.
When opponents have the ball Durant and Jackson have been, by the numbers, a top-ten NBA defensive duo. And it's not a simple case of the Thunder being great at defense. It's worth considering it might be something about this combination. One of the best five-man defensive units in the NBA (minimum 50 minutes played) is Durant and Jackson with Serge Ibaka, Thabo Sefolosha and Kendrick Perkins. That lineup is one of the Thunder's most used and has an incredible defensive rating of 78.3.
Related: Put defense and offense together, and Durant and Jackson are, at the moment, literally the best-performing duo in the whole NBA.

Durant - 29.0 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5 assists. 15-4 record.
George - 24.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. 19-3 record.
LeBron - 25.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists. 16-6 record.
Its nearly impossible to say that LeBron is the MVP right now. No way he wins if Miami has the 5th best record in the league. Voter fatigue is also gonna hurt him a lot.
Durant has the lead right now, followed closely by George.

I agree that Durant is the clear MVP right now, but how many shots attempts does have per game?! How many ft does he have per game?

I don't think its that relevant.
Durant averages more rebounds, but LeBron has a higher ReboundingRate. Which one do you think carries more weight in an MVP vote?
LeBron has more assists, ya but how many more passes does he have?
