Of course.

If anyone was defended like Jokic their output would drop dramatically.

Adelman knows what is coming and guys have to be ready to make plays.

I love Kawhi but there's no universe where he could lead a playoffs in PTS, REB and AST like Jokic did. And he's not defended like Jokic, either.

And there is no way Jokic could ever lead a team as their best offensive and defensive player like Kawhi can.

Kawhi is not at Jokic's level, and I'm a huge Kawhi fan.

Jokic's playoffs DBPM when he led the playoffs in PTS, REB and AST was +3.7

Kawhi has had one playoff run with a better DBPM, and he averaged 22/6/2.

Different levels of player. And Kawhi is one of the all time greats but he's not at Jokic's level and only a very small group of players in NBA history are in that conversation.

When Denver won the title, and Jokic became the first and only player in NBA history to lead a playoffs in PTS, REB, AST and WS, he also led the team (rotation players) in individual ORTG (129) and DRTG (108).

The guy literally did everything for the team and set a new standard for NBA history.

Love Kawhi, but he's not capable of that and only an extremely short list of Hall of Famers is (like LeBron).

The 1st half was a layup line because he wasn't even contesting at the rim. He had to be embarrassed into trying a little bit.

I love jokic. But come on.

You are the greatest Jokic troll in here and everyone knows it. Do you really think "i love jokic" is gonna make us forget?
Theres no trolling in calling out the ridiculousness of jokic fans. My issue is with them not him. Him im a huge fan of.

Said ridiculousness from the fanbase is continuing right before our very eyes.

I really want this to go 7 games, but it's likely Clips will pull it out in 6 or 5. Denver is having to rely too much on Jokic but Zubac always does a good job of limiting him. Jokic is basically resorting to flopping which is a major sign that he is not able to get his stuff easily.

Layup line? The clippers scored 18 pts in the second quarter last game. And only 10 after Jokic came in at 9 minute mark. “Layup line” and you only score 10 pts in the second quarter is some layup line. Can you have a worse take. Come on like you said
Ok first quarter. Same idea. It was embarrassing until he started trying. You can try the semantics "gotcha" but we were all watching the same game. Started really really poorly defensively for him.

Clippers young fans of the last decade are growing into diehards. Ballmer’s plan worked.

Its a hater if i've ever seen one. Only comes in to troll after losses. Always leads with "i really like Jokic" or "i love Jokic but...". Hasnt said anything positive ever.
Idk man. Coming from a guy who thinks lebron has only recently added a post game then when he asked for evidence of a good post game as far back as 2012, was provided with a whole highlight reel, then just doesn't respond to that guy anymore... calling me a hater is a bit rich. :)

What a night for the Claw, that was a vintage performance. I still can't believe how much better that team has gotten. Norm said it best, addition by subtraction. A full buy in to the Harden System experience has Zubac playing like an all star, and a fresh legged Kawhi has them in position to finally see some real progress in Clipperland.

Denver beat them twice in the RS. Decent matchup for them

Yeah I don't see it. I feel like OKC matches up with them perfectly.

Last regular season game they played, Jwill got injured in a game OKC was easily winning and never returned after halftime. Denver ended up winning and it took a Goat level performance from Jokic, an off shooting game for Shai and unsustainable great shooting from Nuggets role players.

Jokic is unreal..
26 points 12 rebounds 10 assists 3 steals 8/16 FG 4/8 3PT

That’s on an off night lol.

If he doesn’t have legendary performances game in game out Denver struggles to win.

Feel like if Dunn could just make a wide open 3 the Clips would be legit contenders.
Love his defense but it’s 4 vs 5 on offense when he’s on the floor. Dude can’t do anything but make uncontested layups lol

See Lebron, this is who Curry had to face every year in the West. Meanwhile you had to face Demar Derozan, and yet you still complain when you lose and still gloat and say you had the hardest championship of all time! You didnt even have to face them dudes in their prime in the playoffs thats why you always had fresh legs!
What's your point? Curry had a 73 win team, and blew a 3-1 to Lebron's Cavs, who were clear underdogs. 2015, Lebron was without Irving and Love (Irving got hurt game 1). The 2017 and 2018 titles were freebies. 2022 was the one title where the Warriors won as the underdogs.

If Lebron was who he say he is the GOAT, then why were they underdogs in 2016? Kyrie was as great as Curry that year, hence Cavs were just as stacked. They weren’t no damn underdogs. Regular season is not playoffs. Plus Warriors had to go through game 7’s in WCF hence they were tired! Lebron was able to relax vs Demar Derozan in ECF! Plus he cried to get Draymond suspended!

Also, by your logic, Lebron had a freebie in 2011 vs Dirk, yet he still lost! How do you lose a freebie! He the only GOAT who lost a freebie!

OKC deserves it after being hosed on national TV game slots but this series is much more of a slugfest

I really like Adelman. He gets it.

No meltdown tonight. If this was Malone he would have totally flipped out postgame.

It was a close game they lost. Some mental lapses cost them the game. They lost the game. The Clippers needed Kawhi to shoot nearly 100% just to squeak a win out.

Jokic was torching them also before Hartenstein had a tough foul on Jokic that hurt his wrist/elbow in the first game of the b2b.

They’re just evenly matched. Zubac does better on Jokic than Hartenstein or Chet could ever dream of.

7 turnovers killed them. And he has to be better from free throw line.

But I've appreciated his defensive effort since the 1st qtr of this series.
