Bucks

3-2 w/o Giannis, beat Suns, Clips, 3pt loss in Boston
1-6 w/o Dame, lost to Suns, just lost to Wizards, only win was Hawks who were on a b2b

The wizards example is not really indicative of Giannis. his teammates were incredibly bad today.

Giannis was 15-21 (35/15/10); non-giannis was 30-82 and Giannis assisted 10 of those. The amount of opened 3s missed was sickening. Like I guess Giannis could've gone 18-21 and the bucks would've won?

He has the same narrative arguments that SGA has with slightly worse stats.

I could see him getting a D Rose type MVP someday. Great, but not ATG player who was carried by his elite defensive supporting cast

Not Giannis individually he seemed great (I didn't see the full game) but the team seems to suffer more w/o Dame compared to Giannis so its to make an Mvp case for him

He’s 22 and averaging 26/5/5 with great defence. The Wolves held the 1 seed for the majority of the season.

They lost Kat and are still hanging in there at the top. Nobody expected them to be good and they were pretty much ridiculed for the Gobert trade.

Yeah I think that is just small sample size with some let down effect of Giannis not suiting up. Dame can get hot but he just hasn't been consistent. Bucks have a stupidly good record when Dame does well with Giannis because its basically a guarantee Giannis got an efficient 30 plus another efficient 30 points from Dame. It doesn't work the other way around since Dame has a lot of 5-15 type games. Anyone who watched more than a dozen bucks games this year and thinks Dame has a MVP case over Giannis is certifiable.

Big opportunity missed by the Mavs to close the gap to 4th.
