You still had a heck of a tournament, my friend.

That was Giannis worst game in the tournament.
But that midrange is officially a weapon.

If Valanciunas is out of shape and plays like this...the Nuggets have good chances next season.

Toliopoulos my man.... finally. I was waiting for his explosion.

Yep. Lithuania really sets the standard when it comes to how a country should treat basketball.

Nah,20 years ago,in the Eurobasket Final vs Greece,Germany had by far the best player on the court, the great Dirk, and it meant nothing.

Single elimination games are always a different animal, team effort can erase individual talent and effort.

Having said that,Germany isn't that far away from Turkey and Greece. The semis and Final should be close games.

That means Slovenia will win it all.

I dont think Turkey has much of a chance against Greece, they are comfortably behind in quality of role players. Ataman is a much better coach but that only counts for so much.

Luka isn't the best player.
And Turkey has the best starting 5 in the tournament and the best coach. We'll see.
It's open for anyone.
Finland would be a great winner for my taste though.

Yeah but the rest are no slouch either. We can contain Franz with Papanikolaou, but you have none for Giannis. Schrouder is a problem though.

One of the worst teams of the tournament while having a Super star like Giannis.

Latvia , Litueva or Israel with less talent are much better teams.

The bad team that, is one of the worst in the tournament, with the such a bad coach, eliminated the better teams of Israel and Lithuania, and Lithuania had already eliminated the better team of Latvia.

Strange, how that all worked out.

It's hard to pick between Dorsey and Isaiah Canaan, as to which one of them is the most one dimensional player in EuroLeague.

Also, can I give some props to Alexandros Samodurov? He's only 20 years old but he has provided a lot of good minutes for us in the last two knock-out games. He's earning his stripes.

Which starting 5 lol, two guys who are not even regular starters for their euroleague teams or another one that gets 16 minutes per game. Maybe the guard of Bahcesehir tickles your fancy lol.

They all looked best they've looked in years playing with Sengun, it's not a coincidence.

Greece could really have something for the future with Samodurov, Avdalas, and Zougris.

https://www.eurohoops.net/en/eurobasket/1866734/kurtinaitis-praises-spanoulis-perfect-coaching-valanciunas-happy-with-fight/

Kurtinaitis praises Spanoulis’ “perfect coaching”

“First, I want to congratulate Greece on a good game, and personally Vassilis Spanoulis for his perfect coaching.

It’s easy for someone like Spanoulis, who played for 20 years, he knows everything.

But, but, but, according to the expert basketball analysis here in this thread, Spanoulis is like a really, really bad coach, that is being outclassed by the opposing coaches, and that is like 4 to 5 levels below coaches that were already eliminated.

Yeah, makes sense.

Dorsey ain't a starter on his team either.
Mitoglou is not a regular starter on his team.
Neither Papanikolaou.
Sloukas comes off the bench.
If you exclude Giannis, everyone else are not stars on their teams.

It doesn't matter. What does matter is the fit.
The trio of Larkin/Cedi/Sengun is amazing.

Toliopoulos was the best player on EuroCup team Aris, if you want to count that as his team, instead of PAO.
