You still had a heck of a tournament, my friend.

That means Slovenia will win it all.
I dont think Turkey has much of a chance against Greece, they are comfortably behind in quality of role players. Ataman is a much better coach but that only counts for so much.

Nah,20 years ago,in the Eurobasket Final vs Greece,Germany had by far the best player on the court, the great Dirk, and it meant nothing.
Single elimination games are always a different animal, team effort can erase individual talent and effort.
Having said that,Germany isn't that far away from Turkey and Greece. The semis and Final should be close games.

One of the worst teams of the tournament while having a Super star like Giannis.
Latvia , Litueva or Israel with less talent are much better teams.

CharityStripe34 wrote:Dorsey sucks as a lead guard. He has tunnel vision and can't make the primary read. Almost would be better to have the inverted pick and roll with Giannis handling the ball. Dorsey is not strong on the ball.

Luka isn't the best player.
And Turkey has the best starting 5 in the tournament and the best coach. We'll see.
It's open for anyone.
Finland would be a great winner for my taste though.

Which starting 5 lol, two guys who are not even regular starters for their euroleague teams or another one that gets 16 minutes per game. Maybe the guard of Bahcesehir tickles your fancy lol.
They all looked best they've looked in years playing with Sengun, it's not a coincidence.

Kurtinaitis praises Spanoulis’ “perfect coaching”
“First, I want to congratulate Greece on a good game, and personally Vassilis Spanoulis for his perfect coaching.
It’s easy for someone like Spanoulis, who played for 20 years, he knows everything.

Mitoglou is not a regular starter on his team.
Neither Papanikolaou.
Sloukas comes off the bench.
If you exclude Giannis, everyone else are not stars on their teams.
It doesn't matter. What does matter is the fit.
The trio of Larkin/Cedi/Sengun is amazing.
