Let me help you out. The Pacers' "bastard son's" are everyone who's ever played for them aside from Reggie Miller.

#1 would be Coach Don Nelson. He was an arrogant dumb bastard of a GM who traded away Mitch Richmond of Run TMC. The other two of Run TMC being Chris Mullin and Tim Hardaway. They could have won a chip had they stayed together. Nelson also gave up three unprotected #1 picks + rights to Anfernee Hardaway for rights to Chris Webber. After winning ROY, Nelson and CWebb could not get along and he traded him leading to a depressing situation and many consecutive losing seasons.

Another would be Rick Barry. The guy is a selfish prick who left the team for the ABA. What puts him in the bastard sons category is after finishing his career, he wanted to get an executive position on the team in order to run it. Good thing he never got close to sniffing an executive seat. It's his a-hole personality and not his b-ball skills that made fans and Warriors management alike not want him as an executive.

Finally, I liked Monta Ellis, but many Warriors fans would probably list him because of missed game-winning shots. Forever tied to the Andrew Bogut trade. The Warriors wanted to keep Ellis and trade the oft-injured Stephen Curry, but the Bucks balked at that deal. Fortunately, keeping Curry led to three chips. Also, Coach Mark Jackson despite turning the team around even though he had no prior coaching experience. Fans probably do not appreciate his ISO ball offense.

i'd pick stephon marbury though referring to him as bastard son seems a bit harsh. i don't feel he ever cared about playing for the timberwolves. i heard the rumors. he disliked mchale, jealousy of KG, NY homesick. who knows. in the end marbury forced a trade. so while he is among the best to play in minnesota, it felt more like a rental agreement than a legacy. which sucks since i started watching basketball because i was so excited about that duo. they were really fun to watch.

thanks for backing me up

it seems that people do not believe that there is a sizable portion of laker fans who do not want lebron on the team

we will be paying a 34 year old lebron 40 mil a year while he marginalizes ingram, lonzo, kuz and hart

how exciting!

I mean, it's pretty clear that you're just a spurned-Seattle fan. You'd be a fan of Satan if KD signed with the Lake of Sulfur 666ers.

I'm sure there are plenty of Warriors fans who see KD as a bandwagon player and prefer Draymond/Klay/Curry.

It's easy for the Celtics: Judas Shuttlesworth. Almost nobody leaves the Celtics on bad terms, but he's an exception.

Cedric "Cornbread" Maxwell was briefly another candidate, but he's been a Celtic radio broadcaster for a long time now, so that's ancient history.

Rick Fox was a decent player for the Cs, but not great, and he left on fine terms. Similarly Brian Shaw.

Define "plenty"..

I bet it would be extremely hard to find a Warriors fan that would feel that way about Durant. If they do then I question their Warriors fandem kinda like the dude who changed teams because LeBron joined the Lakers?? Come on...

For me it's Ron Artest with no hesitation. I don't care what awards he won or how good he was. He forced a trade after the organization stood by him even though he seriously damaged the organizations reputation and image. The team with him on it the year the Brawl happened was probably a more serious contender than any of the previous Reggie teams, even the one that made the Finals. He fact that he went on to play for the BS Lakers just makes it worse in my eyes.

The only knock on Danny Granger was that he couldn't stay healthy.

The situation with Paul George ended badly, but there were some good years in those Pacers/Heat ECFs. And the trade ended up bringing in the current face of our Fran hise.
