there's no better evidence that the 3s turns players into woosies
3s are an easy way out with a bonus of being analytically encouraged

The biggest problem is Lebron is a sub-par 3 point shooter but he doesn't have much of a choice he has 20 years of mileage already.

What excuses? That he is old and can't take his guy off the dribble consistently? People who call everything an "excuse" may not understand the meaning of the word.
Its fine and natural that an older guy slows down a bit. Most are actually retired at his age.
As i said, the problem comes when we dont discuss him as aging 3rd or 4th option but in other context pretend he is still the Lakers' best player, their #1 option, the best player in the league and in the running for MVP and DPOY. Guys gotta pick and follow through with it

I dunno, every time I see lebron's stat line it looks good to me. Ad too.
I think a better analysis would be on the Lakers defense than on lebron's shot selection.

I can confidently say that not one person, even bigbird has said he should be in the MVP talk this year. Maybe last year, because I mean he was until his injury.

You mean the MVP thread where Lebron isn't even listed as an option and nobody is discussing him as a reasonable alternative?
If you can't find anybody but 1 person you already know to be a Stan claiming he is MVP, the problem is made up

it's not the choice over time. it's simply a choice of the easier of the two and reflective of the 3shot and the type of player it's creating.
derozan and like 2pt shooters with a hand in their face is a thing of beauty. nobody guards the 3

7 guys (4%) think he is currently the best player in the league. 27 other guys (15%) think he is top 5 in a league taht also has Curry, KD, Giannis, Joker, Embiid, Luka, Harden, AD, Lillard playing.

Here's a study showing only 84% of people have always believed the earth is round. In this poll 82% believe Lebron isn't a top 5 player. I think we can all agree that everyone sane thinks lebron is outside the top 5.

Granted, he usually did it while still maintaining a high seed, but I think last season made him realize especially that it's better to just make it to the playoffs healthy then to go all out for a higher seed. He just can't do it for 82 games anymore lol he's old as ****.
I'm not sure he's doing a good job of staying healthy either. He's missed half of their games so far.

this is why they brought in westbrook and while everyone aknowledges it they still question the move. westbrook will embrace the workload.

This is true. Trying and succeeding are different in this case. I'd rather him do what he's doing while trying to stay healthy because I can't imagine him going full throttle at the rim and being hurt literally every game.

Kareem's age 37 he averaged 22 points per game, although he played in 79 games during the RS. On a per-possession basis Lebron is better at this point in time.

Kareem was 4th in MVP voting and won the finals MVP (For the little that thing is worth). I have no idea how any of this makes kareem better or worse than lebron, but just saying...Kareem had a pretty solid age 37 season.

Re: Anthony Davis settling? Look at Lebron's current stats
Gonna need more context as far as the lineups in the game when he's taking these kinds of shots. I've seen compelling evidence online from Cranjis that the primary driver for LeBron's non-aggressiveness is an overly packed paint. But context and GB mixes like oil and water lol
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord
