I shouldn't be forced to close the same banner ads for the 352435243 time for modes and upgraded game versions I don't, and won't, play. If I'm not connected to the internet (and thus enjoying an ad-free experience) I get a pop up telling me to connect to the internet. This pop up displays even if I'm in the middle of an offline game, obstructing the court.Cassalien wrote:Tracymcgoaty wrote:...Gaming has really gone down the **** when it comes to online play.
Couldn't be further from the truth. If your online gaming experience is limited to bad studios like 2k, then yes, you may be able to reach that conclusion. However, Gaming has seen one of its best years this year and there are plenty of games worth playing online in coop or vs.
If you keep buying 2k you will just expose yourself to more frustration. Vote with your wallet.
LOL no. Micro transactions and monetization at every opportunity is the de facto standard for online gaming and has been for years (shout out to Battlefront 2).
R* is the perfect example of this. Single player DLC for Red Dead 2 never happens in order to support an online mode with slow drip content (including outlaw passes) and a game economy that whiplashes from one extreme to the other, handicapping the monetization potential resulting in no further content for the online mode of a one of a kind open world sandbox. Meanwhile GTA 5 and its online shark card cash cow has been released onto its 3rd generation console while GTA 6 resides in meme status.
I remember the GTA 4 DLC basically being two brand new games
I **** adore RDR 2 it's in my top 3 games ever. The fact that they didn't add on DLC for that game with such a vast landscape is a crime. I popped it in not too long ago and discovered stuff i didn't see before.
R* basically teased us with the dutch princess who went missing in Van Horn giving us hints that it'll be a part of a DLC or something and it fizzled out into **** all.
