RingsDontLie wrote:My question is how many more years can he keep up his game that is so reliant on his freak athleticism. I just don't don't see him maintaining that kind of explosiveness for much longer. If he doesn't get injured soon, he'll probably hit that wall and decline. He'll probably be a journeyman by the time he is 30.
Same guy who called Ingram the next Durant or MJ.

RingsDontLie wrote:Ingram definitely has the potential to be better than Kevin Durant...his ceiling would be Michael Jordan/Lebron type of impact I would say. At worst he is Kevin Garnett in his prime type of impact.
Same guy who claimed Zubac shouldve been a top 3 pick.
RingsDontLie wrote:Zubac a top 3? Doubt I said that. If I did, I don't know what I was smoking. But if you can find that thread with that quote LMK.

Well that is a big gap there...Kevin Garnett to Michael Jordan. That is referring to Ingram's ceiling which there really isn't a limit on ingram yet. 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan...that can dribble like a PG, and showed great vision his rookie season...hard to put a ceiling on that. Potential is potential, it's not guaranteed. No one really ever reaches their highest potential. Kobe and MJ probably the closest to ever reach their full potential basketball-wise. Without the work ethic...without the luck of not getting seriously injured...it's hard to ever reach that full potential.
Oh I see the Zubac top 3 pick. Well Zubac looked great last summer league and his potential is still there. But that statement is after looking at the picks after Ingram.... which is Jaylen Brown, Dunn, Hield...not exactly amazing prospects after #2....Zubac still has the potential to be the better pick than Jaylen obviously. I forgot how terrible the picks were after #2 in that draft which was the reason for that statement.
Westbrook has the same explosive style as Rose. Arguably unsustainable athleticism. Once that athleticism is gone, what is he going to rely on? In his 30s yes, I could see him ending up as a journeyman. And I stated that in my other response which is perfectly logical.
