You're going to piss off a lot of Knick fans, lol. I didn't see the game, how did he do?

he's got the tools but he's far too back in terms of skillset for a PG in the NBA.

Didn't watch the game, but if you're basing it off of one game then that's not the right way to do it. Tell me, how many Knicks games have you watched this year? Your own moderator came to our board last month to say that Frank is further along than Jrue was at the same stage, a player who has been my comparison for Frank since well before we even drafted him.

Frank is already an elite defender, has great court vision (but that sometimes ends with him ignoring his open look), and can shoot (even though he needs to improve, he's been at 38% from 3 since December began). Worst case scenario, he becomes a secondary playmaker 3/D guy.

Frank is passive, but he's acclimating to a new country, a new role (one that is VERY different from his role last year in France), a new type of game, new teammates (including guys who don't look his way), a terrible coach, and a team that lacks talent in a big way (especially without KP).

The only thing he's lacking is aggression, which he has shown he has in the past both this year and while playing in U18s, and a more consistent shot.

I think you're WAY off base here. Like, WAY off base. Even if he doesn't become Jrue, he'll have his role on every team he plays for.

Their "actual starting 5" is a playoff tier as well. Simmons, Saric, Hield, Murray & Embiid could go head to head with any starting 5 in the NBA (except the Warriors).
It's essentially the 76ers starting 5 with Murray and Hield instead of Covington and Reddick.

So, you want the leading scorer of the team that got beatdown by 30 to be MVP?

lol

He's a Celtic fan, of course that is what he wants.

Or it could probably have something to do with having the best line out of the entire game...

I’d rather Brown and Tatum only play 10 minutes combined.

Team World has far, far more talent

But why is that? These guys are all the same years in the league as the USA team...drafted in the same classes, etc.

World team is far older. Bogdonovic 25, Embiid/Buddy 24, Saric 23, Brooks 22, Sabonis/Simmons 21.

Now look at the USA team. Kuzma, Dunn, Prince are only dudes 21+ and latter was a replacement injury. No Lonzo, Fults, Brogdon, Jackson as well.

I mean World team was far older and more experienced as well. USA was missing its best players from the recent draft and the reigning ROY as well

I hate when Lowry does the 3pt contest, he just embarrasses himself.

#1. Just like the playoffs and late game FTs, when all eyes are on him, he chokes.
#2. He's not made for those types of contests. He's an in-game shooter, the success of his shooting comes from his ability to get his legs into his shot, but you don't have enough time in the 3PT contest to take those types of jump shots

That's the problem with the game today in general. The 3 is the default and its boring.

Wow - just heard Drummond is going to replace Cousins in team LeBron staring lineup. I’m surprised - thought it would be Westbrook...maybe they want to be competitive and needed him to guard Embiid ;)..

My only theory is they wanted a Center in the starting lineup cause AD likes to play the 4... Perhaps Casey/LeBron actually wants to compete to win instead of using the starting positions as honorary things (cause Westbrook would be the clear best player of the non-starters). LeBron himself will probably do most of the true PG duties and someone needs to be able to guard Embiid...we all saw in that recent game that AD can’t do it - lol!..

Our mods are not the brightest lights then. I watched Jrue in HS and i've watched 12-15 Knicks games and Jrue had offensive tools at 17-18 that Frank hasnt shown me yet.
that's not a knock on Frank tbh. Jrue was held back by a terrible coach in Doug Collins early on and since Frank plays heady defense with a high motor I dont agree with the post saying he'll be out of league soon.
But in order to be anyhting close to special he's going to have to close a chasm of a gap offensively.
