You're going to piss off a lot of Knick fans, lol. I didn't see the game, how did he do?
he's got the tools but he's far too back in terms of skillset for a PG in the NBA.
Didn't watch the game, but if you're basing it off of one game then that's not the right way to do it. Tell me, how many Knicks games have you watched this year? Your own moderator came to our board last month to say that Frank is further along than Jrue was at the same stage, a player who has been my comparison for Frank since well before we even drafted him.
Frank is already an elite defender, has great court vision (but that sometimes ends with him ignoring his open look), and can shoot (even though he needs to improve, he's been at 38% from 3 since December began). Worst case scenario, he becomes a secondary playmaker 3/D guy.
Frank is passive, but he's acclimating to a new country, a new role (one that is VERY different from his role last year in France), a new type of game, new teammates (including guys who don't look his way), a terrible coach, and a team that lacks talent in a big way (especially without KP).
The only thing he's lacking is aggression, which he has shown he has in the past both this year and while playing in U18s, and a more consistent shot.
I think you're WAY off base here. Like, WAY off base. Even if he doesn't become Jrue, he'll have his role on every team he plays for.
