Naw, it isn't that. They lost in 4 games. Like really, 4 games and your the #1 seed? That is just a humongous underachivement. Might as well had forfeit before the series even started.

One point game in Toronto + game winner in game 3. It was a bit more competitive than it looks like.
I get that, but a sweep is remembered as a sweep. It's not like all 4 games came down to the last position, and it isn't even in the ECF. When's the last time this has happend? I know the Mavs laid a stinker against the Warriors 10 years ago.

Raps never could truly recover after that game 1. Although im fairly convinced they wouldve lost the series anyway with their atrocious D and terrible game plan/preparation. Also lebron being lebron.

Does it matter if its the finals or semis? It's still Lebron, and he swept the 60 win hawks just a few years ago.. A sweep is a sweep, sure, but there seems to be a whole lot of overreaction every year when a 1 seed struggles against Lebron..

Lebron is the most hated basketball player of this millennium....and it's all purely basketball related hate too...he's an unselfish/efficient/high bbiq player which RealGM usually GUSHES over...but half of the board hates him like he ran over their dog

LB is one of the most selfish players to ever play the game...he holds franchises hostage w contracts and signing his guys, lacks effort on the defensive end and points the finger at everyone else when a break down happens, cant play in a system unless its his system and makes guys like Love and Bosh become 3 pt specialists cause he needs to space the floor so HE can operate

That’s literally all that matters. Lebron is the reason those role players are successful. He is everything.
Love this new Celtics team, but whether we admit it or not, they have beautifully taken advantage of a young and inexperienced sixers team.
Things will be a lot harder for both teams in the ecf. Similar to the first round.

Of course its selling well. It would legitimately be badass and clever, IMO, if it wasn't blatantly stolen from a TV show and about a team that was just swept as a one seed.
Agreed, more or less. I haven't seen "the north remembers" pushed so much aside from a couple commentators but maybe I missed that. At least we the north isn't a direct quote..?

We the North is still cringe, but not as bad as the North Remembers, no. I still wish the Rapz could have came up with a campaign that wasn't just jacked straight from a TV show though. I get that its catchy and everything but its so unoriginal.
We're talking about a team that's named after dinosaurs that were heavily featured in a blockbuster movie around the time they came into existence.

Cringe all you want, I think the marketing department has chalked it up as a job well done at this point.. Though they may need to get back to work on the next one now..

Feel sorry for Raptors fans I expect they will have to do something significant this summer they have the pieces to move for Leonard unless another team with more draft assets presents a better offer so maybe that's in the cards for them.

Raps fans, I know most of y'all are inconsolable right now and you're entitled to that. All I'll say is that someday, you guys will probably be hanging some banners, and whether you believe me now or not, you'll look back on this time as just part of the process of becoming champions. Be down, but don't STAY down; this, too, shall pass.

good call copernicus especially considering all the current and former players supporting other teams that like to lurk here.

Nonsense. If LBJ leaves the East, watch out for the Raptors.

Overrated isn’t really true.. this team had the second best record in the league. That’s not a fluke. This is them just running into a monster that is lebron And not being able to get past him.

The over reaction is ridiculous

you got swept.

lebron further cements himself as the goat by beating the nr 1 seed in the east as a huge underdog.
